Last Tuesday, October 23, 2018, I went with my uncle to view the wake of a cousin who died 52. She is the daughter of my uncle Gil Medina who stays at Pateros but is now visiting his children in USA and Australia. Bebet my cousin is married to a doctor and they own a clinic in Pateros.
Her body lay in state at Garden of Memories in Pateros/Taguig MM. It was founded by Engr. Tomas Sanchez who happened to be an acquaintance in the memorial park business. They have a 6 room chapel which was built in 2000. They were into memorial plan business but got out of it due to changed rules by SEC/OIC
They are building a new chapel with columbarium and crematorium. IN their markers, the management admitted the difficulty in expanding memorial park because of high cap ex, expensive land and prohibitive regulations.
They are concentrating on services (that is what we discovered too)
