Mr. Jess Crisologo and Dr James Joaquino, our JV partner in La Union called for an urgent meeting last week, but we just held this today.
He mentioned the low sales and as a solution to that he thought that maybe the person he met in a social or other meeting a certain Gen Manalastas a retired Gen from PMA, and who runs a funeral business in Baguio City (which is brisk) may be called in for deal so that our memorial park plots in La Union could be sold. He said this Gen Manalastas is selling prepaid plans (illegal)
I mentioned that:
1. We have a chapel that is ready for chapel memorial services (funeral service)
2. We have asked for a PDCA on how to start a funeral service in La Union since we have Calamba and Pangasinan ready with such facilities.
3. We have a pending proposal for crematorium which merely awaits the titling of the ROW in front of the chapel
4. That we tried selling plots under Hataw 1 a la memorial plan, and services plus plots under Hataw 2. We said our La Union performance has been dismal.
HOWEVER WE ARE NOT STOPPING IN OUR EFFORTS TO BOOST THE SALE OF HOLY GARDENS LA UNION.
5. We are currently in a deal to buy Destiny Financials Services inc and is merely awaiting OIC approval. Jess and James might be interested to join us and the equity for this is plots which we have. We will be in competition with St Peter should this push through.
6. We have plans to segment the memorial park, which we emailed earlier:
1. Holy Infant (free and paid infant burial) (say 50 units)
no vault, only P1,000 for infants less than 1 month old, (includes interment)
50% on the plots and interment for infants less than 90 days old
2. Libingan ng mga Bayani (for PNP, AFP personnel, and war veterans)
3. Public and Civil Servants row
4. Servants of the Lord (priests, nuns, pastors
say tig 100 units
We will offer special deals like that being offered to Senior Citizens, like free vat, and discounts on the plots (no at need price) and same for interment fee.
WHAT DO THE HOLY GARDENS LA UNION SAY ABOUT THIS. THAT WE REACHED A POINT WHERE THE JV PARTNER BECOMES HIGHLY CRITICAL OF OUR SALES PERFORMANCE THAT THEY TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO SOLVE THIS PRESSING LOW SALES PROBLEM
