The Land of “What Is”

Reflection:

Wherever we may be, whatever we may do, whoever we are with, God is always with us. We can always trust God. God will be with us for life. Everyday is a blessing from God and it is a gift of adventure from God.

There will be times where although we treasure some people a lot, some of them may not stay with us for a long time. But God plans out everything for us. We just need to trust him and enjoy our life!

Let us be thankful everyday and trust our God together with us obeying him.

Our greatest hope comes from trusting God.

Perfect Grace

February 22, 2017

Reflection:

Our God is forgiving. His perfect grace always shows as he always blesses us. Even though we are all sinners God always forgives us and always welcomes us to his arms. As God forgives, we must also learn how to forgive others. 

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (22:37). No one has completely fulfilled those commands.

Although we may not see God physically, we should always remember to show him our love for him by calling to him through prayer. We must do our best to thank him and love him.

“No one is beyond the reach of God's mercy and grace."

Despite how big or small of a sinner we are, God has his perfect grace for us to be forgiven. If we are willing to change, God will always welcome us to be forgiven.

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing"

Jesus was in the cross because of his love for us. God gave us his only son for us to restore our relationship to him. God's love for us is bigger than our sin.  He is forgiving.

“Grace is for the desperate, the needy, the broken, those who cannot make it on their own. Grace is for all of us.

We can always depend to God and call on him. God is always waiting for us. Therefore, we should not lose hope as we cal always pray to the Lord. We are all sinners but we should also learn how to say sorry, thank you, and learn how to forgive. We must learn how to accept everyone just like how God accepts us. Let's remember to pray and appreciate the Lord.

Jesus fulfilled the perfect requirements of the law so that we may enjoy the perfect peace of His grace.

Our Daily Bread: The Death of Doubt

Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. 

John 20:25

Things Learned:

We usually doubt what others say especially when we did not witness it. It id hard for us to believe on rumors or news which are not seen by our naked eye. We are doubtful and we seek for evidences.
In relation with our spiritual life, we do not doubt the love that our God gives to us. We believe in His existence though we haven't seen Him yet. We have a strong faith unto Him and we trust His will.

In relation with our job, we do not doubt what our superiors told us to do. We believe on their leadership skills and how they run the business.

Reflection:

We shall never lose hope no matter how hard challenges can be for us. We must always remember that God is always with us and that He will not give us a challenge we cannot handle. Whatever challenges it may be, we can always call to God.

We cannot deny that we are all sinners but God is always forgiving and generous. We must always be grateful for all the blessings He has been giving to us. God gave us freewill for us to use it to care for his creations. Therefore, we must live with freedom of heart and mind by caring about his creations.

We can always ask for God's forgiveness. God is merciful. God loves us so much.

Father in heaven, please help us to know what it means to have the freedom of Your love and presence. May we experience this freedom even in places that we have only seen as our confinement!

Our Daily Bread: Leaning on Jesus

One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.

 John 13:23

Things Learned:

It is normal that we face different challenges in our lives. We feel the pain and bitterness and we are hopeless. During these times we need to lean on Jesus. We may not see Him through our naked eye but we feel His presence. We are being assured that He will not leave us for He will give us comfort that we all need.

In relation with our job, we provide comfort to the bereaved family, customers and non-customers alike. We extend our sincerest sympathy by condoling them and conducting wake visitation. For our clients, we provide them excellent interment service which serves as a way of reminiscing the memories and honoring the sacrifices of their passed away loved ones.
