What is is this one thing that Josh and Joel do not want you to stop doing. Who is Dan Gable?
I just watched the training of Marines Scouts/Recon. Of the class of 60 that started, 13 quit on the first day. The first day of training consisted of: treading the water with the uniform on for 40 minutes. While treading the water, rifles are dropped at the bottom of a deep pool and are retrieved.
Then a l0 kg weight is passed around the class while treading the water. The weight must be held for l0 full seconds. Many sank to the bottom.
On the second day, the Marines march 2 miles (3.2 km) with full battle gear weighing 20 kg. They had hardly rested the day before. Many more quit and so on and so on.
When I bike, the veterans tell me to do hard interval training. At the last 100 meters of a climb or a ride, bike as hard as you can push harder. If others are riding at 40 kph, do not be dropped.
Our sign at the office and Olympic motto says: Citius, altius, fortius (faster, higher, stronger)
Can you work hard in the office and still do your book reports? Many will complain.
While on the way up this is what I did:
Work from 8 am to 4 pm, go to MBA and be there 6 to 9; arrive house at 11 pm; work on assignments until 2 to 3 am.
Then go the work cycle of 8 am and 4 pm. etc.
Some people fear that you can die or be sick doing this or become insane. But I did not get sick nor become insane
