Konosuke Matsushita, founder of National/Panasonic often said the same:
Matsuhita Management Philosophy
Smart Lessons from Matshushita
Corporate Philosophy of Matsushita
Not For Bread Alone
However, as we discussed OT with staff and CMO, it looks otherwise. We hope we can assimilate these sound Japanese philosophy
"I listen and I forget, I see and remember, I experience and I understand" - a Chinese proverb
We are not here at Holy Garden just to earn money or salary, but we are here because we need to do our part being a CSS, I have to deliver sales for me to be able to contribute to the society through feeding program. I will be able to do that by continuously improving myself for better achievement of the company's goal.

Having the position as SBU Financial Controller, I must always bear in mind that not only money matters or what will i get from working but what will be my impact or contribution working with Holy Gardens. To think of improvement in every aspect of my job to be able to give part of me. To commit, not just be involved.

Running an organization is like being a conductor in an orchestra. Musician plays music not because of money or fame, but it is their passion. Loving your work must be your passion and having a great passion of what you are doing is doing it and actually offering it to God, by doing it excellently.
ReplyDeleteIt is shared vision, shared learning, diligence, loyalty, using our common sense which is FREE, having in our mind that if necessity is the mother of invention, unaffected determination is its father.

Being a member of this organization, I always bear in my mind that aside for earning money. I give effort and passion to my work to give good service and also become a part of their lives in simply giving a good service to the interment of their love ones. Even if, it is the last day of their love ones, we show to them that we care and we treasure their memories.

ReplyDeleteAs a person and being true to myself and to every one of us we need money for the benefit of our family and we have to accept that and that the reason why we are here., but in the sense of working in this company i always put in my mind and in my heart that we have to loved our job not only for our own sake but also for the sake of every one of us especially those people who are grieving for the loss of their love ones, we have to show them our empathy by giving the best service that we can give to them.
thank you!

ReplyDeleteEvery philosophy written is a full-packed knowledge that is useful to everyone. If we are just about to read and understand those by heart, we could have the good personality as an individual and we could have the harmony to work as an organization. To aim for self-reliance, to be innovative and flexible, to love what you do and to always use your common sense to act immediately even in small problems that may occur. To always bear in mind that, we must not be directed solely for profit and expansion and to fulfil all the responsibilities and expand the capabilities. We should also have the clear vision in order to find out where will you go from, what can you do more and how will you maximize your results. Never think that there is an existing word “IMPOSSIBLE”, instead cut off the “IM” and just move forward with the “POSSIBLE”/”POSSIBILITIES”. :)

Playing with your heart will give you more chances on winning than playing for the sake money. Working in SBU needs courage and passion. You have no boss to watch over you and monitor your work. You will be tempted easily to use the money which is not yours. We, as we are working at one of the SBU of the company, will follow the company principles and policies and will ensure that we are heading the same way where Head Office is walking through. Sometimes, we need to sacrifice to learn things with our hearts. We will exercise working with passion and loyalty every time.

ReplyDeleteEach on of us is here for a mission. Some work for compensation, some work for the good of others. But we are not here at Holy Gardens just to earn for ourselves, but we are here because we are part of HGMP, and that we must all develop and improve our mindsets of caring on how we can be able to contribute and help others, because everything follows. WE are here for the WE, and not the ME... The Marketing staff sells, the SFC's collect, the ACMO's on SH/RTB, and BPI 3rd floor on the monitoring, checking and correcting mistakes/ misdoings. We are not here para pahirapan ang bawat isa but to make sure that everyone complies for the best. With us, helping hand each other, everything is possible, and the sweet results of success coming from our hearts with desire to improve and to learn will be shared to everyone.

For me as an individual or human being just can't live only with physical nourishment but spiritual needs in order for us to live. In this we can do our duty and work effectively with guidance of holy spirit. To do our job in each SBU with passion, loyalty, and do the good things. We are not tempted to do such bad things that can destroy our whole human being. We need to prove not only in other people but most especially in our selves that e are trustworthy in every thing we do.
