We planned to talk to Brenn Garcia and Leslie Directo yesterday at San Fernando La Union despite Signal No 1 and typhoon Helen. The weather map showed the typhoon to be quite small and pose no danger to our trip
We arrived at Sison for stop over at 300 am. We however stayed there up to 7:00 AM because of landslide they said at Caba (its should be Aringay), Phone calls to La Union says that there is a flood at Bacnotan and diversion.
We left Sison at 7:00 am and were at Aringay by 9:00 am. However, it took a long time. to negotiate the land slied strectch. It was more of poor drainage putting soil and mud on the street. The usual l hour trip took 5 hours. True enough, there was flood near Poro Pt. Diversion. But not that bad.
Brenn was advised to stay put in Pangasinan.
We had just one hour to talk about marketing. good attitutde to the people there. There is so much negativism from the staff. Even for buying food, they say, wala...
The landscaping, the grasses right near the office needs more rapid removal.
The flooding needs water pump: irrigation or submersible for immediate purchase to remove pressure at the rip rap.
