BE a BIDDA: "BELIEVE, INSPIRE, DREAM, DO ACHIEVE"
it is the same question we ask when we differentiate between being efficient and being effective. Efficient is doing things right and effective is doing the right things.
If you can type 150 words a minute, then you are efficient, but if you continue typing when there is fire in your office, you not only oblivious and ineffective but a fool.
So yesterday, an SE came all the way from Pangasinan following up his unreleased commission which he said was held. He requested me and the the people who are in charge of writing the check for some consideration : to no avail. There was an error before in computing for the com which was based on gross and not on the net purchase price. Of course, the error can be rectified (done by a previous inefficient employee and the poor SE had to go home penniless just because we we wanted to be correct) The payment has to follow the timeline/schedule, just like the cashier who did not receive my payment before 7:30 in a certain church that accepts payment for the blessings.
