HGPMP: Report on Water system

Water System in Pangasinan and La Union
TO : HLC, ASR,
CC : GCH, LDA, BG
Re : Minutes of the Meeting with Engr. Pete Castillo on Panga and LUMP water system;
A. Pangasinan:
l. The depth of the perforation should be at 80 ft; NUM must speed up the repairs and be hands on. The 2 hp motor is ok.
2. The substitute in the meantime shall be:
l. The ponding system with a pump on floater (aprox cost P120,000.) 5 hp pump
2. The main line shall be computed by PC; payable in terms over a period of one year. He will submit after 2 weeks.
3. Should the pump work, it shall be merely used to fill up the pond during summer, the line to be used
shall be main line using valves to redirect the water. flow.
3. For the chapel and toilet:
l. Two elevated water shalll be put up: one for clean domestic use from the water district, and the other one for grey water coming from the well, for toilet flushing
B. La Union
l. The open well shall be rehabilitated. A pump shall be bought to drive water up to the storage tank
2. In the available space for the lagoon:
an Small Impounding Pond shall be dug which shall:
l. collect run off water from the mountains
2. prevent water build up which destroys the rip rap;
3. storage of rain water;
3. The water shall be pumped up a storage elevated tank near the chapel. It shall be concrete 3 x 3 meters x 10 meters located at highest point of the park;
l. It shall have overflow outlet, and excess water shall be made to run off the drainage system to the highway;
2. the irrigation shall be gravity only
4. Should there be no available space, the land adjoining the property, about 50 sm can be bought for the water tank.

There would be no more drilling contract with NUM
WTDN:
l. NUM must submit necessary documents to turn over the well (not working as of now) including the drilling log and NWRB permit
2. Notice that the NUM contract in LUMP is deemed terminated on account of the difficulties with the Panga project.
