SUBJECT: UNSATISFACTORY SALES AND COLLECTION PERFORMANCE RESULTS IN DIFFICULTIES TO STAFF OF SBU
THEY MUST UNDERSTAND THEY ARE ESTOPPED FROM COMPLAINING
Our January and February performance have been unsatisfactory; less than l5% of sales target, 40% of collection target. Last year, we suffered losses
of 250t. (I hope the SBU have been informed of these figures.)
I tried to join teleconferences so that the sbu personnel involved ine sales and collection activities may somewhat pay more attention to the telecon and I was utterly disappointed. I hope they can be transformed and motivated.
I was just informed that an sbu is allready complaining about their delayed salaries.
Time and time again, we have explained to you and everyone, that BPI, as only processing the disbursements of the SBU, can only process what is available; when there is no funds to process for salaries, then there is no cv to be done. Period.
For every gross collection: You have to remove:
PC - 12%
VAT - 12%
JV share from 40% to 50%
After deducting everything, you will see that nothing may be left. HLC, please furnish Calapan, Oton, and Lump the details of daily collection allocation as to available balance for operation.
The interment fee which all goes back to the reconstruction fund of the body crypts (if body crypts) and reimbursement of expenses for cash expenses, excavation and interment group fees, (depreciation of equipment, construction and labor vault) are further deducted. The collection of majorem is likewise removed.
I explained to the JV partner, the bearer of the sad news today, that despite the allegations that the SBU has lots of money, bulk of it is his and may not be spent for the salaries of the SBU; for the past month, the controller allowed his money to be used for salaries that is why his JV share for November was released this January. The SBU may go to the proper authorities if the salary was delayed; but it all boils down to lack of communication, of understanding of the business cycle and reality, which at their age and level of education would be easy. (Or there is problem with their neurons, in the words of the Lady Senator from Iloilo?) They are entitled to seek redress of their grievances anywherel; they have only themselves to be held responsible; the resources needed to pay the salaries are there waiting to be collected and sold; however all the reasons they can give is why they are not selling or collecting and why it will stay that way?
How I wish our leadership can get through their psyche and thick mindsets.
Can we can not expect faster action on the GE which is part of their assigned duty since November 20ll? There is nothing clear up to now?
Kindly ask explanation from every sbu, in writing, why they would suffer the consequences of substandard sales and collection performance
We wish to leave this difficult path with the kind understanding of every one; and this is possible with DETERMINED AND PASSIONATE CONSTANT COMMUNICATION BY 3FLOOR STAFF AND MGB.
SO BE IT.
