PAGSASANAY SA TAGUMPAY
Today we discussed passion (June 25, 2018)
1. What is passion? Overpowering desire. Pangigigil. It is loving what you do even though it hurts?
As in Passion of Jesus Christ
Love of neighbor which we need as we sympathize with our customers on loss of loved ones, is called
compassion
2. According to Steve Jobs, you have to love what you do. Do what you love and love what you do
3. When we hire people we look for PIC (Passion, integrity and competence in that order) Before
competence was over rated. Competence is nothing if the subject does not like her superior
or employer.
4. According to George Hegel, "Nothing in this world gets done with out passion"
Do you agree? You would not have been created or born had your parents been not passionate in one
night of passion
5. Can passion be:
1. Bought? (obtained by paying more to the applicant?
2. Developed? Some subjects did not become lover of their job despite high pay and long hours of
of training?
3. Or it is something that you bring before the table?
What do you think? SBUs staff are enjoined to answer via the comment

Make your life story beautiful- last words of Steve Jobs
PAGSASANAY SA TAGUMPAY
MAKE YOUR LIFE STORY BEAUTIFUL
Last words of Steve Jobs:
MAKE YOUR LIFE STORY BEAUTIFUL
Last words of Steve Jobs:

Steve Jobs’ Last Words
I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.
However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.
At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.
In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…
Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…
Should be something that is more important:
Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days
Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days
Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.
God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.
The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me. What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.

The Late Steve Jobs of Apple talk on success and passion
"Pag gusto, may paraan; pag ayaw, maraming alibis"
You need passion as what Chit Juan says at Figaro to succeed. You need a lot of hard work to succeed. Without passion, cant work hard enough, or enjoy what you are doing and success will elude you
