A. The chairman of Jollibee, Tan Cak Tiong used to tell his middle managers and senior officers that they are only "90 Days from Failure" thus:
1. They have to work hard;
2. They had to keep their word
3. They have to innovate: expand and increase number of stores, innovate
menus, acquire other business
4. As in biking they have to keep on pedalling so that they will not fall on their side or worse belly up
5. They have to execute well ie get things done
B. We are witness to the owners of the land in our JV who got tens of millions of PHP as payment to the land, good will money etc. how in a few years, they are impoverished: nangungutang. One in Polomolok, one in Taytay.
If it happened to them if Jollibee is wary of this business risk, then we too
cant be exempted from this:
1. How do we know if we are profitable: wala tayong PNL? When
do we get a PNL. Para tayong nangangapa sa pagpapatakbo ng
negosyo. This is a top priority!. Our current staff are not capacitated
to accomlish this, Certainly this has to be acted upon
2. Non achievement of KRA:
1. Sales only 10%
2. Collection only 30% on the average
3. Unproductive and disobedient staff: lacks training, discipline
and supervision
3. Delays:
1. Permits
2. License to Sell
3. Procurement
Many people need to cooperate and do their jobs as paid professionals
When can we expect this? It has to be soon. We may end up like the Santoses and Pazes
