SUBJECT: RECOGNITION OF SALES
Objecives: 1. To set order in the collection of PPA,, recording of OR and deposit slips
This memorandum should settle once and for all the issues regarding submission of PPA, and submission of reports by Treasury
and the Cash Voucher for outright commission
1. A sale is recognized, as per Civil Code when the following conditions are met:
1. There is a contract
2. There is a consideration (payment)
2. To fulfill this:
The sbu must immediately send copies of the 3f PPA for confirmation
The sbu must immediately send copies of the OR to the 3f
Treasury must properly note the deposit slip validation number in the DCP for reconciliation of the outright commission (Is this being done?)
THE SBU IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO DISBURSE COM UNLESS 1 IS FULFILLED.
In the same manner, we should recognize sales only when there is PPA sent to the 3f, and there are copies (our copy) of the OR
We cant give com, nor recognize sales achievement, award prizes: cash sale incentives, incentives unless # 1 is complied with
IN THE OCV, the PPA number, the OR number of payment, and the Validation number of Deposit slip must be properly noted (as we are
doing in the IF; No deposit of the interment fund, no replenishment of IF
2. As to the outright com, the SBU will be authorized to disburse the same only upon submission of the sales contract to 3f, and copies of the
deposit slip and OR are submitted to the 3f . The com can be taken from a fund, or from the remittance duly evidenced by the Cash
Voucher for outright com
