Bill Gates once was the riches man in the world. He achieved through focussed vision, recognizing the correct opportunity in the market (choosing software over hardware) and making sure that they produced the product on time.
It was challenge for him to keep his staff his programmers to stay with as a team to finish a job/program. It is often that programmers would go off or not do the work assigned to him. If that is the case, William Gates promised that he will finish the job. It meant only one thing - you are fired.
Do we have the same sense of teamwork: of working together for success? Or I come first?
It was rumored that Bill Gates memorized the plate numbers of his staff to monitor who comes first and who are late... He wanted to know who was committed...
Which reminds us of a story about the pig and the hen going into breakfast business.... What does commitment mean to the hen and the pig going into breakfast business... Can you guess?
Thank you for this post. Commitment is very important in every organization before a team forms. Just like in our organization, we are a team working as one committed to our company's MVBP, culture, goal/objectives towards our end.

Goals provide us with a target and a direction. Motivation and Commitment is also important whatever goal we set must be exciting and believable.
