Presentation of the 4 groups of projects for the National Contest for GT/GC on Park Beautification

We had the presentations this morning for the project that will be included in the contest for 2016 National Contest for Park Beautification.  We all ready invested a lot for this conference :   on the travel, food, accommodations, ppt presentation and materials, great deal of planning to make sure this is going to be success;

We drew lots for the presentation: and the order of presentation were

1.  HAMP
2.  Calapan
3.  Oton
4.  Calamba
4.  La Union
5.  Pangasinan

Those who had acceptable presentations:

1.  Morong
2.  La Union
3.  Pangasinan;

those not mentioned must level up.   The lantern building from recycled materials were notably absent.

Requirements/reminders on what the plans must contain (to be sent hard copy to 3f on hard copy)




1.  Site dev plan with indicator on where the projects will be located.

2.  Picture of the now of the MP, picture or drawing of how it should look like

3  Project brief:

    1.  Index number as per #1,  (location)

    2.  Brief description

    3. Area  l x w x h

    4.  Estimated cost/bom/specs

     5.  Process on how this is going to be built

Take note that the limit for the cap ex for this is only P50,000.  Thus the size of project must be limited, low cost for the inputs, and lots of improvisation.

It is rather disturbing to note that some GTs were ill prepared for the presentation claiming:   they were just informed, the memos were not properly explained to them, that their chiefs lacked the necessary care and attention to prepare them for the presentation.  They were issues on:

     1.  Non preparation of WS and proper monitoring
     2.   No AM talk

These has to be corrected from the top down.

Resubmission of the final plan as required will be on Monday.
