I will annotate further the article that was forwarded to me from Business Inquirer re speed as a competitive advantage, here as seen at Bounty Fresh in its changing of business model from that of broiler supplier to that of end consumer producer ie of Chooks to Go.
The firm headed by Ronald Mascarinas was a game changer in an industry where complacency and red tape has been the norm. (and so with us)
We had demons in the community: ie delays/red topae that need to be corrected. The mindsets of the staff needs to be levelled up:
1. Pending panaflex at Calapan (mag one year na ito since noted)
2. It took too long to repair YJ in Calamba and Calapan (it took nearly 2 years)
3. Roadworks delay in Calapan; the money was ready in June, and we incur interest expenses of P1t per day. We had paid; P100t to the lender, and probably the same. The head of the sbu, the engineer, the contractor spend a lot of time talking about this. The pdca, contracts, specs remain unsubmitted and unsigned.
4. Pending project in an sbu caused by: need for alteration, the delay at SB, and now that we re ready to resume, still lpending;
5. A one year wish for new uniform.
6. 2016 corporate plan should be submitted in 2015 not this year. Even as I write this, no final marketing plan has been submitted.
7. The call for hiring has remain unheeded/unaccomplished.
