Last Friday, Hainee's friend committed a suicide. A 22 year old college student at SLC. His body was found hanging in the bridge of Cabaroan San Fernando City, La Union, 25 steps to Hainee's house. Accordingly, he was texting all his friends, close friends and girlfriend last Thursday night asking for a reply: Pwede ka bang lumabas ngayon? or Pwede ka bang makausap? Can I call? But no one cared to call or textback as a response.
The following day, his body was found hanging on the bridge at 6:00 in the morning. All his friends that had received his text regreted on not responding to his text. All of them says: "Sana pala nag-reply ako sa text nya, sana buhay pa sya." Regrets.
Wala na.
Please reflect. And no matter what it is, if someone texted you or call you. Let us answer.
Remember: All text and calls are important and essential in our daily lives.

In #1 in Three types of People is " Those who make things Happen", we should always be alert and attentive to others needs, why cell phone are invented? it is for communication, so no matter what, how busy we are, we should ask someone who calls or txted us. To have concern and respect with each other.

Good communication requires a sender and a receiver. The one who received the message needs to respond at once in order for communication to be effective. Quick response is needed. Some may say "It's better to reply late than never". But the story tells us that we have to rather adopt "Respond/answer quickly before it's too late."
ReplyDeleteWe have to change really our bad habits --ignoring texts and calls doesn't give us a good impact but regrets in the end.

ReplyDeleteIt simply implies that quick response to any single message would mean a lot. Never ignore simple text message's because this could bring big impact to the receiver. "Communication is the process of sharing information, thoughts and feelings between people through speaking, writing or body language". And so through texting. I, Myself will also be accounted for this matter. :)
