If it still is not clear to you:

     Estate -  is sum total of wealth, earthly possession of a principal:  money bank deposits, real estate, cars:  personal properties like jewelry, art collection, antiques, stamp collection etc which the principal will leave to his decedent (heirs)

     Estate planning  is preparing for death:  so that the heirs can get the said estate (the wealth) intact (less expenses, less estate tax) and much faster and easier (not much red tape court cases because the same has been taken care of and planned

      Buying a memorial park plot,,service and plan  are integral part of estate planning.  The amount to be spent on funeral services and burial will no longer be taken from the estate, and thus the heirs get a bigger pie.
