Background:

It is not a good idea to let matters cross over till the next year.   We were not like this nor did we allow a year to pass or leave things unfinished for the year, including closing the books.  We still have a long way to go in terms of Manageable Execution, Professionalism and Maturity.

Follow up is part of Effective Execution

Objectives:

1.  To increase revenues;

2.  To give Chrristmas blessings during Christmas

3.  To live and benchmark Og Mandino, Steve Jobs:    Live as if were the last day of your life.

4.  To give credence and emphasize that in order to succeed. you have to keep your word

Items for follow up and immediate implementation/executin:

1.  Gifts to contractors;  ISG and SG, etc 

2.  Processing fee collection

3.  Videoke receivables from SBU vs IF

4. ID

These items when completed and done, will benefit you and the company (especially 3ffb because you will have the gifts and funds for your salary especially 2 and 3

Let me know when.  

So far, despite the approval for the promotion, much is still to be desired among 3ffb staff.  A lot of change and learning is still desired

Our Daily Bread for today

We covered several topic today in our AM talk which I feel very strongly about;

1.  Our daily bread  What can I give Him

   This Christmas, we are asked what gift can we give to Him who gave His life for us.

    This Christmas, we are vaguely reminded to give our best for Him. But what does it really take?

     Some concrete suggestions from 

Many of these are listed in Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12. Or we might long to show more of the fruit of the Holy Spirit: to be more loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind and good, faithful, gentle and self-controlled (Gal. 5:22–2  (this is addressed to the one in charge in Calamba newly appointed who is the subject of complaint of sellers)

2.  In Syria there is a group that caught the attention of the world.  There are about 2,700 of them, all volunteers, unpaid, and risking their lives to save the lives of their fellow men from collapsed building, from bombing, from fires.  They have rescued and saved 72,000 lives all ready.  They risked their lives. About 140 of them have died They are called heroes with white helmets.

3.  How can we be heroes in our own turf/homeland.

    The organization is rife with complaints about unpaid rice allowances which were given before.  There was doubling of rice allowance for certain year, but for entire year since December 2015,  nothing was paid.  We might have neglected to pay the same in 2016;  we have to get to the bottom of this.

   Our staff, in failing to do their job in accordance with our own prescribed policy/process and laws to that effect might have committed a violation that would expose again the company to expensive litigation

   We are not asking our staff be heroes, extraordinary persons exposing themselves to danger, but to care for their fellow workers who might have been deprived when their rice allowance and other allowance are not paid;

       In correcting this mistake:

      AS we mature more in our jobs, we learn to care more for our fellow workers, in our home ground, turf, so that they will give their best in serving our customers and protecting our business.

Gifts from the Holy Spirit - one of them is Good Health

I mentioned this  to the third floor staff while we had PE this morning.

My uncle had a heart attack about nearly 30 years ago(1984).  He was  a Christian and he was a USec of an important government agency.  He was confined in the Philippine Heart Center and I visited him.

Full of recompense, he said he forgot about the gifts from the Lord and he said they are:

Good health

Love 

Joy 

Peace and 

Understanding

in that order.

Itinerary for Dec. 20 and 21, 2013 by Cynthia Cartago - MC and HGMP Santa Claus

Cynthia Cartago has picked up the flashlights and umbrella gift items which was purchased last Saturday and hurriedly printed beginning last Wednesday.  The printing was finished today albeit at a much higher cost,  because it was rush.  The order to have them printed was given last Monday and followed up.  and on Tuesday.     There are bottlenecks and problem is getting serious and the bottleneck must be removed/solved.'

Cynthia was delayed by about and I hope she can make up for the delay

We had to reduce the budget for the food for the Christmas party.  The SBUs are holding the company and Agents meeting separately.  We can have teambuilding and each other must understand what we are doing for sales. by having the party together.  A couple of thousands saved is reverse marketing.  Something really must be done to correct SBU heads mindset. 

There are provisions for prizes for nationwide top performing agents and they must be properly rewarded.

Holy Gardens Oton Christmas Party, December 14, 2013

The Holy Gardens Oton Memorial Park had a Christmas party with the visiting Senior Managing Director yesterday, December 14, 2013 at Felix Flores beach resort.  Those in attendance were:  Gary Torilla, Aprilyn Caragayan, Janelle Petipit, and Samson Granada.  JV partner Felix Flores and wife Carina Flores also attended.  He was given a gift by Holy Gardens staff.

There were speech by April, by JUS, and exchange gifts.  The staff received a Christmas package of P500.00 each.

After the party, because of time pressure, the SMD discussed and emphasized the following:

1.  Code of Conduct and Discipline.  They must understand this very well;

2.  The employee handbook;  they must memorize the underlined  sentences.

3.  The Performance Evaluation and the Adminisitrative Plan.  They should work together

Merry Christmas and congratulations to Holy Gardens Oton for achieving 94% of its sales target for 2013

I just hope that the combined visit, talk and  party motivated the group

1. Parable of the talents:

     1.   We were given talents in this earth.  We must bring that gifts out, develop them so that we can be in the service of others.

     2.  It is all about improving and getting better;  improving the God given talents;  if we do not, what little we have will be taken away from us.

    3.  We were created/born into this earth, to take charge of ourselves, our families and others.

          1.  We should be answer to somebody else's prayer, rather than having our prayers answered

          2.  We are saved by Jesus Christ in order to save others

          3.  We are lucky and blessed to be fed so that we can feed others.

2.  How do we increase/develop our talents?

3.  Can we just do our jobs and be an employee forever?

4.  What is your responsibility as a Christian, as God's Creation?

5.  What is the relation of this reflection to our job.

How I wish there is more openness in understanding.  No gifts and greetings can replace understanding and teamwork (as in a very bitter and sarcastic sbu.)  Let us pray for them
