Ano ang natutunan?
1. In order to succeed, one of the secrets on top of hard work, and keeping your word is know what you want. Know your goal. Know what you love doing. Know what you want to be
BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND.
It does not matter what you do if you do not know where you are going (From Wizard of Oz) Your success or failure is determined by how far or how near, or how much you have exceeded your goal.
Your goal is to be better than before.
If you do not improve yourself, or level up your skills, then your life is wasted. Sayang naman, kung maghihintay ka lang ng darating sa iyo. Are you a victim who just wait for the current of life to carry you? Life is short and if you do not hurry or have a worthwhile goal, it is like you being jettisoned from an asshole and then later on flushed down the toilet of nothingness.
Does have a goal like a ship going into the night or plane going into the dark night, but finding its way through darkness and clouds simply because it has destination, a goal.
2. DETERMINATION
You can have a goal but unless there is grit and determination to achieve this, then the goal setting is useless. The goal is as important as the determination that accompanies it (like strategy - it is not the planning alone that counts but your ability to execute the strategy)
"Kung gusto, may paraan, pag ayaw may dahilan"
Determination and persistence alone are omnipotent by Calvin Coolidge
Calvin Coolidge quotes (showing 1-30 of 60)
2. But there are a lot of important things to remember as we prescribe under BIDDA:
B elieve in our dreams, in you self and the power of dreams
I nspire. Be inspired by work of others of saints and Jesus Christ, Of the works of great and successful people
D ream big. Dreams are cheap. Many dreams have created new products and great businesses. Dream while sleeping or during the day. But dreaming during the day, believing in it, and pursuing it can launch a career or big business.
D o. Launch your plan. Do a business plan, a marketing plan, compute and assess the opportunity and risks very well and anticipate the process as you negotiate implementing your dream . DIN
Do it now. OTAC (On time and complete
A ct Check how you are doing vs your plan. Correct the actions and decisions if they do not work well. Implement and continue doing a winning game plan, abandon and correct if palpak
3. Write/make a vision board:
Vision Board from Huff Post
It must contain your:
1. Timeline
2. Specific rewards desired for the journey you like: a house, a car, a watch, a gadget. Reward yourself
3. Write too what you must do to pay for the reward - education, training, hardships, broken relationships, discipline - waking up early, working late at night; working on a project doggedly while others are sleeping or have given up.
Many people succeeded because they knew what they wanted. In a study in Cambridge, the Alumni studied why some graduates were more successful than others. What is because they were more intelligent than others, more academically advanced, or had better course, or had better connection, or family lineage.? None of these were seen as direct correlation between the graduate and success. It was due to say 5% knowing what they wanted in life. And of that 5% wrote down their goals. Those created more wealth in their lifetime than those who did not.
4. Look at the man in the mirror.
Ano ang natutunan?
Your success starts and ends with you. Put your vision board in the mirror - in front of your tocador or bathroom. Remind yourself of the goal and look at yourself whether you are determined enough to succeed or you being better every day.
I wrote my goal on the picture of a car reward and wrote my financial goal for myself and the company on a piece of a ruled paper.
You can too.?!D
5. VMOKRAPI
Your objectives/goals have various levels with the first being the highest purpose
V ision - a picture of what you want for yourself or the company/business: its geographical coverage, the number of business units
M ission - the handrails on how you do your business your values the philosophy how you deal with various stakeholders: customers, govt, public, stockholders
O bjectives - what you want to achieve in numerical terms: sales, collection, ROI, expenses etc.
KRA - Key Result Areas : like quality outputs, productivity, number of safe hours worked, cost, expenses
PI - Performance Indicators - Number that are your benchmark, your stretch figures for doing better than before. You cant hold back
6. SMART
Your objectives must be characterized by these:
S pecific - You cant have a general or unclear statement like yes sir or noted. Specify what needs to be done. Be clear. Be unequivocal and decisive. "Pagtutulungan is such a word"
M easureable - expressed in # of units and Peso value
A chievable - can be done by ordinary people exerting extraordinary effort and determination. If others can do it, why cant we. There is no room for featherbedding or selling ourself short or underachieving. Be better than before. There is no room for mediocrity.
R ealistic - Can be in a realm of dream or fantasy. You stretch the goal but dont be a fool
T ime bound - There must be a deadline and timetable for doing things. For everything there is a season. No deadline, no achievement. What do you want, walking or running a sprint.? Sprint would be better
DIN - Do it now.
