Sirs:
After due consultation with the Offices of Talospatang Barangay, the Office of the Mayor, and several members of the council, our company has decided to invest in the your very accommodating and hospitable town and is seeking your kind issuance of the development permit for the proposed project of memorial park Barangay Talospatang, near KM 190, some 3 km from the town proper,. The property which consist of 5 parcels of land with total area of 48,100 covered by various TCT to wit:
all under the name of Rosario Endozo vda de Mamaril. Ms. Mamaril has empowered us apply for an in her behalf the said development permit, conversion.
Our company, which operates the Holy Gardens San Carlos City, is a part of a group with 11 memorial parks in the country and has been in this business for the last 34 years.
We plan to make the memorial park even better than the one located in San Carlos City and will construct religious icons so that it be a magnet to tourists, and other kababayan, and even to joggers. We envision to put up a 60 ft Jesus Christ the Redeemer at the far end of property. At the entrance, at the two plazas, there will be images of Our Lady of Manaog, and Pieta
The following we believe can be the benefits to the town of Malasiqui and the governrnment
1. Investment
We will invest P70,000,000 in the project: purchase of land and development, and surely the purchases we make can move the local economy. Perhaps, too depending on the outcome and processes involved in our investment, other investment friends and observers will be draw in too to invest. We have observed that in our parks in Calamba, Oton, La Union and Pangasinan (and even in our first park in Angono) that the park has been a magnet for development
2. Revenues
We will pay real estate tax, business tax, local and to the BIR: VAT, witholding tax from our vendors, employees and sales agents and from suppliers who sell to us.
3. Social and economic benefits:
.1. The townsfolk of Malasiqui because of added competition will see better memorialization service
2. More jobs and employment: of construction workers, of suppliers, of agents who sell for us and they may go into hundreds
3. Our company has advocacy to donate part of its earnings to feeding programs, aid to home for the aged, and orphanages
4. As per our discussion with the good mayor, we can assist the municipality invest in body crypts for the poor at San Pedro and even here in Talos Patang in case of expansion
We can assist the municipality too help decongest the municipal cemetery by having say P5,000 bone cremation and P5,000 rental for five years of ash crypt, (once our crematorium at SCC is operational
We trust that our project will qualify under CLUP (as per our conversation with the good mayor, and that the subject land isi no longer usable useful for irrigation purposes. and that indeed investors are welcome at Malasiqui
Sincerely yours
