Maintaining and Innovation in Interment Procedures and Standards
What: We have to retain and meet the current interment standards as
prescribed in our checklist, and INNOVATE to stay up front
Objectives
1. To be aligned to our mission of remembering our loved ones
in a special way
2. To surprise and delight our customers
Reality
1. We were unique outstanding before but others in the industry copy us
and or many new CSS neglect do not implement our procedures
nor refer observe our checklist
2. The end result is our interment sucks and our our low sales reflect
this
3. One bad lousy interment can throw off our sales effort
4. This persist even though we just finished conducting
This discussion refers to the availability portion (AATR)
5. Our focus
1. Maintaining standards
SPECIAL PLACE
1. The park has to be well cleaned and maintained: grasses trimmed
trash picked up prior to any interments
2. The vault finish must be smooth not rough and rugged
3. The vault interior must be painted
4. Dress and uniform
1. The ISG and the CSS must be dressed (see post on clothes to wear
at funeral) appropriate to an interment/funeral
From Ecclesiastes: "A funeral is more important than a feast"
A funeral is a sacrament just like Baptism,Holy Eucharist, Confirmation
Wedding, Ordination of a priest, and Extreme Unction/Requiem Mass
We have repeated rebukes of CSS who do not dress correctly during
interment

6.. Missing services and equipment; or run down equipment
1. Threadbare carpet (lumang luma na)
2. Butas2 at soiled tent canvass
3. Unpainted legs of tent
4. Tents need wheels for easy transport
5. Unpainted vault hauler and lid placer
6. Few serviceable trailers (Have complete number of trailers; minimum
of 4 for SBU with few interments
7. At least 36 chairs
8. At lest 2 tents per SBU
9. Upgrade equipment at this intervals:
Carpet - every 200 interments or 2 years whichever
comes first
Tent canvass - same
Chairs: when they become corroded (nangingitim nagflake off)
every 3 years or 300 interments which ever comes first
10. Repair promptly and/or eplace equipment that are unserviceable
non functioning
Monthly regular inventory checking and repair of these equipment
is required. Attention of CSS and CMO is required
1. AV system:
1. Microphone
2. DVD player
3. amplifier
4. loudspeaker
5. Cables
6.. TV and or projector
2.. Videoke
3. Lowering device
4. Safety equipment rods: ropes and styropor
5. Podium
6. Motif: properly stored at plastic boxes to prevent mildew and/or
replacing when faded with mildew or peppered with holes, or
outmoded
Special way: Procedures
1. Reporting of interment - report to 3f for SAA must be made to 3f (or SMD)
who is MA at present as soon as IA is made
The daily SBU report incorporates such a report
2. 3F sympathy call:
At the minimum, the CMO must visit the bereaved family and condole
with them
A sympathy call from somebody at 3f to the members of the deceased
family must be made
3. Interment video - a short video of the actual interment must be made
and uploaded at 3rd party sites as was done before. This will enable
3f to asses and analyze state of your interment standards
4. Posting of the interment at Holy Gardens Best (not being done)
5. Announcement of the interment at the interment board in front of the gate
of the memorial park. If none is available tarpaulin announcement must be
made at the office or front of the memorial park
6. Tokens for the family like Bible, cross, rosary (if catholic) candles
6. Death and birthday of the deceased anniversary
Remembering with flowers on death date or birthday, and making
announcement at our birthday and anniversary site
7. Dalaw paburol - visiting the dead who are non customers bringing food
calling cards and brochures to entertain inquiries and gather prospects
8. 40 days. Bringing food and other stuff to the family of the deceased whom
we serviced. Doing prospecting also, and gathering prospects
9. Markers to be delivered on the interment date. Prior arrangement has to be made with regards to blank markers, and the one doing the carving
NO MORE DELAYED MARKERS as in Pangasinan ICCD mga negligent CSS CMO
(10. AP will participate actively in monitoring interment by going over the interment checklist
11. Interment checklist will be updated to reflect these changes)
12. Continuation of printing of:
1. Program (ginagawa ba)
2. Thank you cards
INNOVATIONS:
As discussed and as Resolved in the CSS Conference last September 28 - 29, 2018
1. Improving changing music Somebody will be assigned to compile and send DVD to the SBUs
2. New pictures for the memory board using sepia or charcoal style of
design
3. Interment announcement that have many pictures (collages) not just single picture. Samples have been emailed and posted
4. We will have cloth shroud designed with Holy Gardens logo to drape over the casket once the casket is in our premises. (If we can afford this, this will be
folded and like a flag given like a flag to the bereaved as in military funeral
5. Contest BEST TRIBUTE, VIDEO AND PICTURES OF INTERMENT.
(Right now I have chosen a judge and is setting up criteria for judging) Prizes are P5K, P3k and P2k
6. Bamboo made torches for All Saints Day and park decor (from DB)
7. Bamboo wrap for park lighting (suggested by DB)
8. Curly ribbon (made by stretching ribbons) for balloons and tributes (from DB)
9. Wrapping flowers for epitaph with cloth to hide flowers imperfection
