Yesterday, I attended a funeral/interment service  of a former business colleague.  The family got him a P200t service (Bates) however, the interment service looked like bare to me.

What went wrong? Could our CSS, CMO tell what and explain why this happened?

                                                 The chairs had no seat cover, no AV equipment
                                                  no podium;   look at the attire of the CSS

                                                  What can be done to prevent this deterioration/corruption?

Are PWD (Persons With Disabilities) entitled to 20% discount on interment

Are they?

The answer is no

.  Only senior citizens are explicitly mandated by the OSCA law for 20% discount on funeral service (which should include interment service) Plots are excluded.   Cremation probably included.

For the PWD, if we examine the law. RA 9442 from Lawphil, PWDs are entitled to discounts normally enjoyed by senior citizens like:   restaurants, transportation, medical diagnostics, hotels, theaters.  But for funeral services, there is none.

To wit:

"SEC. 32. Persons with disability shall be entitled to the following:

(a) At least twenty percent (20%) discount from all establishments relative to the utilization of all services in hotels and similar lodging establishments; restaurants and recreation centers for the exclusive use or enjoyment of persons with disability;

(b) A minimum of twenty percent (20%) discount on admission fees charged by the theaters, cinema houses, concert halls, circuses, carnivals and other similar places of culture, leisure and amusement for the exclusive use or enjoyment of persons with disability;

(c) At least twenty percent (20%) discount for the purchase of medicines in all drugstores for the exclusive use or enjoyment of persons with disability;
