Questions to ask to improve your prospecting

PAGSASANAY SA TAGUMPAY

Prospecting is an imporant sales activity.  A sales oriented company or a team looks always and focus on prospecting.

No prospect no sales   Of the number of prospects, only 1% commonly turn into sales.   10% is an optimistic number.

Hence, Mark Hunter (Sales Hunter) gives us tips on prospecting

The number of salespeople and companies that share with me how they do not feel their prospecting plan works always amazes me.  Then again, I have to admit I am continually assessing my own prospecting plan to determine its effectiveness, too.
If we’re not prospecting effectively, then how do we expect to be able to make our goals?  It comes down to a very simple premise — if we don’t start right, our chances of finishing right are not good.
Below are a few of the things I look at when working with salespeople and companies on measuring their prospecting process.
Yes, I do go quite a bit deeper when working with companies, but start off by asking yourself these questions:
1. What % of your leads ultimately turn into customers?
2. At what phase of the selling process do the potential customers fall out of the sales process?
3. What is your definition of a lead and under what pretense do you begin to classify them as a lead and then as a potential customer?
4. What is the process for creating leads? Who owns the process?
5. What criteria do you use to determine the potential of a lead?
6. How long does it take for someone to go from lead status to a customer? Has this timeframe changed over the last year?
7. What is the primary reason a person would want to become a lead for you?
8. Do you have to educate leads as to what you do or are they knowledgeable of what you provide before they become a lead?
9. Do you know the cost of acquisition for a lead and a customer?
10. How has your prospecting process changed over the last 12 months?
11. What do you do with leads that do not turn into customers?
12. How confident are you with the CRM system you use?
I see far too many salespeople struggling to close sales when what they have is not a selling problem, but rather a prospecting problem.
An example I like to use is it’s no different than thinking somebody is going to drive from Othello, Washington, to Surprise, Florida (yes, those towns do exist) without Google maps or even highway signs to guide them.  Using Google maps is going to get you from Othello to Surprise a lot faster than without any assistance.  The same goes for closing sales. With the right plan, you can attract and nurture the right prospects to give you the right customers.

            1.  Upang magkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga kababayan na magkalote;
            2.  Upang makatipid ng 25% kada lote;
            3.  Para kumita ang lote.

           1.  Documents delivery;
           2.  Pagbibigay ng OR sa ahente;
           3.  Outright commission at TA
           4.  Statement of account generation

Ang mga nagsi attend na sellers ay sina:

1.  Manuela Manaig
2.  Evelinda Luna
3.   Lerma Maguad
4.  Melita Galsim
5.  Luz Rivas
6.  Emelita Garcia
7.  Annaliza Hinggan

It is to your best interest that you sell and collect

PAGSASANAY SA TAGUMPAY

This morning we discussed at the 3f the importance of supporting the drive to encourage SBUs to sell and collect.

1.Q.   Where does a SBU get funds to support its payroll?

    A.   From the sale of its goods.

2.  Q.  Where does 3f get its funds to pay the salaries?

     A.   From the % of sales and collection of SBUs?

3.   Q.  What happens if collection of SBUs dive down?

      A.  The revenues of BPI/3fjm  goes down too?

4.  Q.  What happens if this continues?

     A.  BPI may be bankrupt.  Run out of cash

5. Q How much is the BE of 3f?

     Fixed costs:   P221,000        % of revenues as management fee  1.75%

     A.  BE =   P12,000,000.

    We could hardly make it past P10m, short ng 2 million.   or P35,000,000 in BPI revenues

     We are enhancing end of BPI and or its bankruptcy:   1.  If we do not cooperate;
      2. torpedo efforts to sell and collect;    3. do not cooperate, come to work early etc.

6. Q  How do we measure the sales efficiency of SBU?

    A.  The new collection.  The old collection was produce of last year's sales efforts.
          Collection of arrears.

The comment is that the sbus are finding it difficult to change, and conform to the company correct procedures... Time for a clean up and house cleaning if this continues?

Strategies for last Quarter Sales Performance

PAGSASANAY SA TAGUMPAY

Four weeks to go in the quarter, and you’re in a panic because you’re falling short.   Missing your quarterly number means no bonus and no bonus means the vacation you want to take your family on is not going to happen.
The pressure is building.  Is this you this quarter?  Was this you lastquarter?  Could this be you next quarter?
Quick — what are the solutions to help you make you number?   That’s the question for which you want an answer!
Here are my 10 strategies for making your quarter-end number:
1. Stop trying to hit homeruns and instead go for the singles.
Hitting a homerun is great, but more times than not what comes before the homerun are a lot of strikeouts.  The last month of any quarter when you’re chasing your number, you need to be focusing in on singles.
These are the deals you can close much faster.  Save “swinging for the fences” for the beginning of the quarter or the start of the year when you have time to recover if the homerun is not going to happen.
2. Target your existing customers.
I see too many salespeople failing to secure the incremental extra business that can come fast from existing customers, only because they never stayed in touch with them. Your existing customers have already bought from you, so they’re comfortable with you. Credit is already set up and they’re ready to buy more, but you need to make the call.
3. Sell the value of time.
Customers may say they want to wait, but a decision to wait means they won’t receive the value of what you have to offer now.  Link the value of what you offer to time with a dollar amount.
4. Focus your selling on what you can deliver this quarter.
Getting the big order on inventory you won’t have until next quarter is not going to help you now.  Sales managers, this is where you play a key role by keeping your salespeople up to date with what’s available and what’s not.
5. Stay in your sweet spot with your sales efforts!
What I mean is now is not the time to venture into a new industry, a new geography or areas where you don’t already have a presence. That tactic simply is not going to be a good use of your time.  Focus on these areas at the start of the quarter, when you have more time to build awareness.

Proposed procedure on best video tribute contest

TO    :   All CSS 2

Thru:    GM Madel

Implementation of best tribute contest

Objectives:

1.  To encourage SBUs to promote deluxe interment services;
2.  To align with our mission statement:  "To remember our loved ones..... in a SPECIAL WAY"
3.  To be aligned with our business model:  ie to recover losses of P2,551 from a 60 months to pay
      0 interest, 0 dp plot;  we have higher sure GP on interment service (DLx to Lux)
4.  To encourage excellence in the tributes and have sbu post tributes promptly
5.  To have tributes that are superior to the slideshow of SPLP

Reality:

1. Many prefer avail of econo/basic interments;  less income for company (even losses)  and no additional
    income
2.  Our CSS are less than enthusiastic in posting/uploading tributes; (non posting or delayed posting)
     although there is P100.00 for deluxe and  and P200.00 for luxury videos
3.  There is much to be desired in the creativity and quality of the tributes

What to do:  implementation of the tribute contest;

What:     Coverage:  For the tributes passed in 2018:      April to October 15, 2018

Prizes:      P5,000 for first
                  3,000 for second
                  1,500 for third
                  provided that the minimum grade for the criteria is 75%

Judge:      technical:   Ms. Cherrie Joy, an aspiring film editor/movie director
                 she is be compensated (P500.00 extra) for this judging
                 Final decision:    Ms. Madel

Criteria:

                Content and format   (has the 4L)                  -                                                   30

                Social Media Impact ( how many likes shares)                                                   20

                Technical superiority (clarity of pictures, sound, absence of pixelization etc       20
                                                  smudges, and other defects)
                 Uniqueness:     use of themes, story , music, transition, etc                               30

Judgement day:    November 7, 2018

Announcement:    November 15, 2018

Awarding:             Christmas party

Future qualifiers

1.  Only tributes posted/uploaded not later than 7 calendar days after interment; all third party posting are accepted
     vimeo, you tube daily motion

2.  Be careful of copyright issues.  Use only songs whose copyright have expired (old songs)

3.  Tributes beginning November have to have twin videos:    the tribute and the at least 5 minutes video of interment

Encourage more dlx and lux interments;   be industrious in making videos;   you can outsource if you want to if there
is an overload (in which case disqualified yon)
