2. "Lord I offer my life to you video"
Lyrics:
All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, oh Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain, I'm making them yours
(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life
(Verse 2)
Things in the past, things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my heart, all of my praise
My heart and my hands are lifted to you
(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life
Some reflection/thoughts:
1. Our works are our praise, prayers, offering to the Lord (I offer my days to you)
NOT JUST WORDS or acts of praise (going to church, saying the novena)
2. What do we offer to the Lord:
1. Things in the past, everything that I have been through - your history, your regrets and acclaims. The good things and bad things that happened to you - your success and failures.
2. Regrets and acclaims. Your happiness, joys, pains and problems "The joys and pains I am making them yours." Let us not curse God for our difficulties. We thank Him for those experience that are meant to make us better persons. We do not thank the Lord just for the good things and blessings. Which we do often thinking God is an ATM God.
3. All the things we do are offerings for the Greater Glory of God.
AMDG. Ad Majorem Dei Gloria. To God be the Glory. For the Greater Glory of
God. We named Majorem as such and AMDG is an inspiration
4. "Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true" "Things yet unseen" We offer our dreams, vision, plans objectives to the Lord. Thus when we are tasked to submit PDCA that lists down reality/background, and the Plans that are detailed: SMART, 5W I H, we are offering this to the Lord. Do it willingly and joyfully not as a punishment, something pushed down your throat to do but as a pleasing sacrifice and offering.
Action plan:
1. Do your job to the best of your ability. Make it excellent because it is an offering to the Lord.
2. The great and excellent things you do are not for the company. They are for the Lord, AMDG.
3. The work schedules the blog posts are pleasing sacrifice offering to the Lord. Do them.
4. We plan and we pray. We plan always: "wishes and dreams" are our prayers and offering.
