Matthew 13 New International Version (NIV)
The Parable of the Sower
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
2. Relevance to our previous learning:
1. To communication and learning
What happens to our blogs, emails, ppt being sent: do they fall by the pathwalk, land on the
rocky ground, or among thorns?
What happens to the rest of our communications? Do people focus, pay attention, reverence to what we are disseminating, sowing amongst them?
This is the reason why we bill them for ppt. People dismiss valueless communications as useless. They might pay attention and give importance to paid communications.
2. So what/who are you among the four types of ground? Are you a ME or a WE person?
3. There is possible karma amongst us. What we sow we reap. If we are barren or rocky ground, then people around us are most likely to be the same.
Law of physics: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
3. Application to our job:
We cant force every one to obey to comply; or follow the 3fold duties of everyone, or the ABCD
doctrine. The changes can only come from within: internal. Choose which ground are you to be.
If you are working for someone, the minimum for you is to obey and internalize (let the teachings grow ) from within.
What do we call persons who expect something to change but still remains the same? We expect
every one to change expect us. We call them insane....
How to be a no limit person:
There are many parables in the bible, but for me I consider this as one of the most soul feeding lesson because it talks about we as an individual who is given the knowledge and free will to choose what is right. God knows we have a lot to learn and that we may not understand everything but God wants us to make the effort to learn more about him. He will give us the knowledge and understanding if we seek on him.
ReplyDeleteRelating it in our daily duties and responsibilities, we are given the understanding but its up to us on how we develop our knowledge, skills as well as our attitude to meet our goals in our company. What we learned must be practiced and develop so that we may be a better person. This is one motivational lesson I have learned from this parable.
Thank You Sir for This,

This parable can teach us about ourselves. God will *bless those people who trust him. We learn from this parable the same truths as we learn from the *beatitudes. When we know that we need Jesus, we should trust him. When we really trust him, he will teach to us. We will change, because Jesus will change us.
ReplyDeleteBut ask yourself this question: what kind of soil are you like?
Jonathan D. Gamo CSS 2
During our A.M. talk, Sir Jorge said "There is no faith unless there is acceptance." All of us should be like a good soil. To be a good soil means accepting what's given to you, and retaining and nurturing it to grow more. Just like in every A.M. talk, we learn new things. We must retain it in our heart and mind, and nurture it by not just brushing it off and by passing that knowledge to others. We shouldn't be selfish. We must help each other to achieve our goals and objectives. Just like what's posted in here, "The changes can only come from within." But how can we change if we don’t do something? We must remember Newton's first law - "every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force." We can achieve nothing if we don’t do something. We must improve every day and change our bad attitudes and habits. We should learn more and more about our jobs so that we can work effectively and efficiently.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sir for this very inspirational A.M. talk.
