Holy Bible verses, Our Daily Bread

"I listen and I forget, I see and remember, I experience and I understand" - a Chinese proverb

Here are some of the verses we tackled during our AM talk with Sir Jorge Saguinsin yesterday, September 26, 2012 at HGOMP office. Kindly read these verses and understand the message of it so we can apply it in ourselves and in our SBU’s.

Proverbs Chapter 4:1

Proverbs Chapter 5:1

1My son, be attentive to my wisdom;
    incline your ear to my understanding,

Proverbs Chapter 7:1-4

Proverbs Chapter 10:1

1The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a glad father,
    but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother.

Proverbs 12:1

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
    but he who hates reproof is stupid.

Proverbs 13:1

A wise son hears his father's instruction,
    but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.

Proverbs 24:3-7

By wisdom a house is built,
    and by understanding it is established;
by knowledge the rooms are filled
    with all precious and pleasant riches.
A wise man is full of strength,
    and a man of knowledge enhances his might,
for by wise guidance you can wage your war,
    and in abundance of counselors there is victory.
Wisdom is too high for a fool;
    in the gate he does not open his mouth.

II Corinthians 9:6-8

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
