Organizational Chart

The organizational chart represents the lines of authority and communication in the organization and defines the responsibility of each one. Who reports to who and who is responsible or direct reports of another

The  types are:  flat, hierarchical and matrix   Organizational Chart

This conforms to the principle of Management of Henry Fayol, unity of command.

The uses of organizational chart.  

Its main use  is defining the lines of communication.  Here are the main uses.










  • Organizational and supervisory communication,  such as helping employees know who reports to whom, or helping people get to know each other across the organization. Adding employee photos can help a lot, allow people to connect faces and names.
  • Restructuring, such as switching roles in a team to better utilize everyone's talents.
  • Workforce planning, such as figuring out the details of a new hiring initiative.
  • Resource planning, such as reducing inefficiencies by rearranging roles.
  • Genealogy, because a family tree is really just a type of Org Chart. You can include photos, dates of birth and death and links to other information about each person.

  1. Learning the organizational structure of the company is important especially with regards of the communication. The staff will be able to know on whom they will report or notify and also to avoid bypassing other personnel

1. One of our beliefs is learning. It pays that you learn more to do more Just to survive you have to learn how forage in a forest or raise your food, catch prey

2. In order to discharge your job well, you have to learn your admin plan the process flow and standards.

3. To keep up with changes, you have to learn and read. There is no other way
