Bukas – Thank the Giver of Life - we are still alive. To act, to deliver good service to our customers, to be with our family, our loved ones.

Gising – Facing the brutal facts. Listen and act well. We are the solution of the problem. It is in our hands. We must NOT BE TIRED to look for customers. Instead we must have the burning desire always (passion) to do our job well to increase sales and collection.

How much improvement will be made on the share of death rate?  It was not made clear to me.What will
you do to  close the gap.?What will you do with the BPP to close the gap?

Perhaps we can settle soon lack of clarity on this aspect. The reason why we had the research made on
the death rate is to keep pace with the market.  If don't keep pace with the market, we will soon have
the interment for the hgmp business.

 Background: 

Kaizen is part of Hoshin system of management system in Japan ie it is better for a thousand ants working together towards a common goal, rather than the queen doing it alone.  Kaizen (please see my slides ppt on business process improvement) is the backbone of Japanese business progress.  Kaizen means continuous IMPROVEMENT.

1.  Innovation  -  innovation is creating value from existing resources. 
     What it is not:   being cute, being good looking alone, unique;  it must add value and affect the customer socially (make him/her feel good. It is not cap ex (budgeted expenditures) or existing process that are simply neglected.  Therefore, read your gp, mc, and corporate plan marketing plan before writing anything down.  Also CMO cluster head please check
    What is it: ? It is   mostly low cost improvement, and focusing on items that do not cost anything.  Therefore, they could be tweaking or mostly procedural items.

2. Submission:    Weekly.   (In Toyota, the average number of suggestion is 50 per year per employee]

3.  Who;

          1.  Submit  -   All officers and staff including 3f employees
           2.  Check  -    CMO at sbu level; cluster head (via email)
           3 .  Recommend and check for approval  - cluster head and ao

:Some Important Results of Our Internet Marketing

Let us share some important results (in terms of recognition) of our efforts in social media/internet marketing:

l.  The two pictures uploaded at Flick.R by Pangasinan found its way into google pages.  For this, for the month of June, Pangasinan gets
    a cash price of P500.00..

2.  In the memorial park domain, we are now number one beating manila memorial park, although we do not have a web page.

3.  We now have many pictures at Google images.
CONGRATULATIONS AND THANKS.  However, these should lead us to stronger sales....(Wjhat about those who can not keep up?)
What to do next.

l.  Continue twitting, posting at fb and uploading pictures at FlickR.

2.  Rationalization of our blogs:

      GRIEFSHARE.wordpress     -   mainly words:   quotes, ;prayer, stories, poems to comfort those who grieve

      GRIEF SHARING AT HOLY GARDENS   obit site:   name and basic data pictures of those who died, with links to You tube for video, multiply for obituaries, and flick.R for
                  pictures.

3.  Contents of blogs:tweets             

l.  Do not use blogs for commercial purposes.  You can announce or insinuate new products and new service but no hard sell otherwise they block us.  You can however show products at tweeter via twit pic or price list via tweet longer

 2. Always tweet post NEW UNIQUE ITEMS:   UNIQUE QUOTES, PICTURES STORIES.  They draw traffic and interest and the blog site a lot of traffic.   The search engine does not go to sites with the same old tired stories contents.

 3.  Its the law of numbers.   The web page spiders will recognize you site only if you have more than 500 visits. Therefore have a campaign iked/followed/visited by at least 500 users.

4.  Tags/keywords      USE WORDS that are more likely to be typed by the searcher.  The Adwords will help you.  When you type something at the google bar, the words that  out after you type the first few letters are the words most likely to be used as tags.  In the meantime. always mention in our blogs, tweets, fan page:

Tuesdays with Morrie

This is a book I have read 2 days ago written by Mitch Albom. The book is about a professor facing his own death in a very positive way. Morrie Schwartz developed asthma in his sixties, a few years later, he began to have trouble in walking. When he was in his seventies, who has always more in touch with his insides, knew something else was wrong with him. He began to see doctors and on August of 1994, his neurologist broke the news: Morrie had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Lou Gehrig's Disease, a brutal, unforgiving illness of the neurological system. The disease is terminal and the doctor guessed he had two years left.

Morrie knew it was less. Asking himself, Do I have to wither up and disappear, or do I make the best of my time left?

Instead Morrie make his death his final project, the center point of his days. He could be of great value, he could be a research. A human textbook. Study me in my slow and patient demise. Watch what happens to me. Learn with me. He was intent on proving that the word "dying" was no synonymous with "useless". For him, saying wonderful things on a funeral of a friend, a relative, a family is a waste because they will never hear it anyway. What he did was, he gathered his friends, families and relatives for his "living funeral"
