Constant communication as direct reports

To: JUS
From: HO

I must and I will comply to this communication. I will text/email what I manged to do in my SBU. For me to be a good Management trainee, I must answer all communication promptly. If someone make a follow up with me, I must act on it and have it resolved. If I'd done something not satisfactory, most especially in my work and attitude, I must let my seniors to discipline me and correct me.

My apology for not answering this email promptly. Our Smartbro antenna fall that's why we do not have internet access in our office. We compile all documents which is for sending via email to 3ff and have it send after office hour. I have to rent in an internet cafe. (When it rains, open an umbrella)

I will text what I man<a>ged today.
I will text what I learned about leadership
I will text how much we sold
I will text my personal class A prospect to sir JUS everyday.

Subject:   COMMUNICATIONS

Goal:     Achievement of Goals/Objectives

Reality:   It is a difficult task getting in touch with MTs by text or email.   Most the times,  emails, text messages are unanswered.  Phone calls are not recognized and those concerned never call back.  The etiquette that refers to communication are:  unknown/unlearned or ignored.

Options:    l.  Be followed up
                 2.  Remain as you are and be disciplined
                 3.  Get worse
What to do:

 l.  Run after me to know what you are doing.  After all, I will make the final judgement, call as to whether you will be promoted or get salary increase or not;

      l.  Text me daily on what you did to manage the sbu

     2.  What did you learn on selling management and leadership?

     3.  How much did you sell;   how many are your class A prospect (personal)

     4.  What was done by your staff to beautify the office and the site?

IMPRESS ME OR PISS ME OFF?

Re: It takes two to tango -- in communication and cause of problems

In effective communication, it is a must to have stimulus - response. Stimulus is calling, texting or sending email.  The other party is calling you because it is urgent and it must answered promptly. Failure to reply would become a cause of a problem.  In our case, the problem's cause started only from our failure to call back for the unanswered calls or the "missed calls".  Kapag may "missed calls" ibig sabihin, you missed a great opportunity, you missed something that is very important in your daily life. When we failed to call back or RESPOND to the STIMULUS, there would be a chain of problems coming.

Thanks,

Aireen

Attention:   VT HO

I received last night a text from HGOMP complaining that they have not received the salaries.  It took two parties to have arrived at that problem:      problem with accounting staff (they acted slow), and that Oton does not have checks  (why?  -  the sending of the request for checkbooks has been lost and has not been signed)   ASR tried to contact you and called AC and she did not respond to the calls:  did not bother to return call or text.

The same happenned at HGGMP.   I was in Baguio last December 28 and HO kept on texting about the non payment of salary.  On the 26th I called for a meeting/telecon, I asked HO to call me;   he did neither.  Precisely, the agenda was about the salaries.  And now, on the 28th, he was laying the blame on acctg staff?  And wanted to be recognized?  Do the two MT understand fairness and being just and responsible.

Let us know?  What must you do next time.
