Minutes of the meeting this AM regarding innovation, GC conference

It should have read this way:

Minutes of the Meeting by and among JUS, IH and CC:

1.   Follow up on innovations on interment:

JUS emphasized on the CSS conference that if ever, there 3 things that every employee must remember:    TO CREATE, TO INNOVATE, AND IMPROVE.  Thus what the CSS wrote on the their exam must be implemented and checked.

2.  As was discussed by Mr. Lacquian at Pampanga on interment improvement a ladies service crew can be utilized for de luxe interments.

Instead of using male interment crew (not the diggers) nice looking females even HS grads can be employed to assist in interment ceremonies.   If ever we have chapel memorial service, we can have lady drivers too.

3.   Purchase of 3 karuwahe for De Luxe Interments at P180,000 each for Calamba, Pangasinan, and La Union to enhance the special interment experience..  This could come from interment fee fund.

The GT conference that was postponed.

Hi Sir Dong

Hi Sir:

Nice meeting you Paolo.  Thanks for the brochure.

Thank you for meeting me last Wednesday at Robinson Starmall and giving me a tour of Sto Tomas casket factory barangay and having delicious dinner of pusit
pla pla and barbecue.

We toured the caruwahe factory, the casket factory, and the makers of hearse (the father of Paolo)  The entire barrio of Vicente, the Barrio Ataol has about 300 casket makers (up from 50).

Thanks for the tour and the education

Lions and tigers and you — #GivingTuesday

You can help save big cats on Giving Tuesday
Dear Friend,

You have the power to help save lions and tigers and cheetahs and leopards – and to ensure they survive beyond our lifetime. It's that simple.

Please make a special contribution to help save big cats today for #GivingTuesday.

Donate to help save big cats on Giving TuesdayAcross Africa, the lion population has declined 90% in the last 75 years. And, there are now more tigers in captivity than there are in the wild.

But a new wave of committed National Geographic supporters across the globe is standing up for big cats and making possible innovative, sustainable conservation efforts that are saving more animals every week.

Friend, I hope you will help save big cats in the wild by making your special tax-deductible donation of $50 or more online now.

Your gift will make a real impact by supporting tested and proven conservation strategies to save lions, tigers, and other big cats.

We urgently need to raise additional resources for big cats before the end of the year to support the front-line work of conservationists in the field.

Your special #GivingTuesday gift will immediately go to work protecting big cats by:
  • Helping to complete more than 250 life-saving bomas before the end of the year. Bomas combine low-cost chain fencing with living trees and other materials to protect livestock from predators and stop the devastating retaliatory killing of big cats by local herders.
  • Training and supporting big cat protectors from local communities. These protectors stop poachers, alert local herders when big cats are near their livestock, and prevent big cat poisonings. They are on the front lines of saving big cats.
  • Providing scientific data and other evidence that local authorities can use to find and prosecute poachers.
  • Working with local people to better understand the key ecological and economic role that big cats play in their communities. More and more people get involved in protecting big cats as they come to see their true value.
But saving big cats begins with YOU and your willingness to act now before it's too late.

Friend, please make your gift on this special day of giving to help save big cats.

You'll feel great throughout this holiday season knowing that you have done your part not only to save lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other big cats in the wild, but also that your generosity will help restore entire habitats as big cats reclaim their essential role as top predators.

Thank you, Friend, for your generosity on #GivingTuesday and throughout the year.

Sincerely,

Sarah StallingsSarah

Your gift today means a lot – thank you, Friend.

Is sleeping on the job a ground for dismissal?

Our rules say so but others have enlightened view:

Some qualifications are sometime required:

1.   How long has been sleeping when caught?

2.  Does his job require night duty, extra work hence the worker is overly fatigued?

3.  Did he put his and that of his co worker's lives at risk?

4.  Was there a diminution of output, increase in cost/damages

Is it subject to first and second offense, how long was the employee sleepiing

In one case a dismissal  brought before an arbiter was reduced to 30 days suspension without pay, the dismissal considered as too severe.

Furthermore some arbiters require pictures as documentary evidences proofs

Outsourcing vaults.

Memorandum:

To   :   HGGMP

December 2, 2014

From our discussion this morning the problem with vaults, materials ordering, problem with materials security, workers can be eliminated, as with practice at Loyola and MMP, by ordering vaults from a third party supplier.  I understand the price is P4,000.00 per vault delivered.  We can order exact # number for our interments.

When the vaults are consumed; for HGGMP effective immediately, shall be outsourced instead of being made in house.

For compliance
