Hi Sir Dong

Hi Sir:

Nice meeting you Paolo.  Thanks for the brochure.

Thank you for meeting me last Wednesday at Robinson Starmall and giving me a tour of Sto Tomas casket factory barangay and having delicious dinner of pusit
pla pla and barbecue.

We toured the caruwahe factory, the casket factory, and the makers of hearse (the father of Paolo)  The entire barrio of Vicente, the Barrio Ataol has about 300 casket makers (up from 50).

Thanks for the tour and the education

Some of the salient points of our discussion:

1. You gave me a brochure on the viewing hardware, casket and hearse.  I can base my price on the price list and appearance.  Typically the SRP is about 10 x the cost of the casket., except for solid bronze (cost is P75,000, the one used by Dolphy) but total package is at P3,000,000 but includes catering, food and merienda during the wake.  The family does nothing.

2.  The best sellers are the P29,000 casket at SPLP.   Even if we are paid only P20,000 only we are break even.  We earn on semi metal and metal caskets.

3.  Dong will provide free 50 cm casket for infants (up to 4 years old) so that we can give free infant interment;  this is indulgencia.

4.  Except for ready to use units, Dong will require 30% DP and progress billing;

5.  For casket, cash on delivery for first batch and we can have 60 to 90 days on subsequent delivery.

6.  There will be no  problem on supplies provided we talk only to him;  We will execute a MoA with Abner Lacquian using his business name.

7.  Some suggestions:

     1.  Having lady drivers and service crew;

      2.  Free infant casket up to 4 years old.

      3.  Buying L 300 for cadaver pick up.  Each one would set you back by P200,000..

      4.  Having vehicles in tip top condition.  Be sure before going to sleep one click ang L300.

     5.  Your driver and service crew ay dapat magaling dumiskarte, alam ang presyo at alam magbenta (everybody sells)  White lies help.  If the customer from the morgue ask for a competitor, do not;

    6.  Always put your beautiful casket in front, the low priced not so nice looking at the back so that he will come back to the front so that they will upgrade.

        We will need the casket rack P8,500 @ to accommodate 3 casket each.  We will need about 6 each.

       We will need curtains and carpet.   Carpets will be acquired at Divisoria.

Dong guarantees that the equipment are lowest in town;  he goes for the long term relationship.

WE REQUESTED THAT HE LOOK FOR SD 33 ENGINE FOR OUR NISSAN IN PANGASINAN AND OR FUEL INJECTOR.

We requested that we pray that the  he memorial plan company be successfully acquired.

This office wants to start memorial service at Pangasinan and Calamba. (How about Morong?  Are they ready for this?)

Kindly correct if there are mistakes or omissions
