The key to execution is clear knowledge of goals and standards. If the vision and strategy are not clear to the boss, its communication to the troops and its execution will likewise will not be clear.
What ever is written as the understanding of the plan is the truth. And off hand the feedback on what we must do needs further doing.
What to to do:
Ask for a resubmission of the following:
1. What is the mission of the SBU
2. What are the objectives:
1. Sales
2. Financials
3. Customer impact
4. Job generation
3. What are the 7 strategies
1. How do you understand;
2. What are your detailed plans for the execution of the same.
This way we will know how we will do for 2014
Due in 7 days time.
