Subject: Security and Cost Reduction Measures
Goals:
1. To save on electricity
2. To protect 3f from fires and losses
Background:
We have put up no solicitation signs in front, and yet some solicitors whose identity and who could be crooks come in. There are news that there are households and offices who were robbed by "visitors/solicitors)
Last weekend, we left one of the computers plugged in, putting the 3ffb over the weekend at the risk of fire.
This morning, the aircon was still plugged in, and the same computer mentioned in the weekend, left plugged was still the same.
WTDN:
1. Please properly screen visitors solicitors or better do not open the door to people who are are familiar with you. If they insist, screen:
1. Ask for ID and ask their mission/objectives
2. If they want to make presentation say we are busy.
2. Avoid having branch transactions (ap) checks taken from here. to lessen our exposure
3. Post reminder in the office:
To the last man out, turn off the lights, unplug the computers and other appliances. Turn off the main breaker. "
