Basic Knowledge of Accounting

TO         :  Melanie, Rezhell, Joy, Rica Joy, EPR

                 Other controller staff

SUBJECT :  KNOWLEDGE OF ACCOUNTING 

After endlessly following up the submission of FS last July with EPR, I made simple questions yesterday to test her and that of people working with her their knowledge of accounting;   they took up Accounting 101 and lo and behold, it was a disaster.

They do not know:   basic equation of accounting, uses of debit and credit.  Therefore to aspire for spreadsheet is a an illusion. 

WTDN:   workshops of accounting practice sets;   read  again accounting books and spreadsheets.

Today we have a workshop.  I would like to remind other controllers to watch out.  The chiefs must also strive to know what accounting is all about  so that they will know how to make reports, in case controllers are absent

    Yes sir. Everyone must have knowledge of accounting aside from us Controllers. In order for them to be aware about their financial stability to understand why we need to hit all our targets on sales & collection. Because if we didn’t hit our plans or targets we cannot also obtain the estimated plan for developing our projects & to pay on time our obligations.
