Our Reflections at 3ffb today - parable of the talents

We reflected on the following this morning at 3ffb:  Food for your thoughts too

1. Parable of the talents:

     1.   We were given talents in this earth.  We must bring that gifts out, develop them so that we can be in the service of others.

     2.  It is all about improving and getting better;  improving the God given talents;  if we do not, what little we have will be taken away from us.

    3.  We were created/born into this earth, to take charge of ourselves, our families and others.

          1.  We should be answer to somebody else's prayer, rather than having our prayers answered

          2.  We are saved by Jesus Christ in order to save others

          3.  We are lucky and blessed to be fed so that we can feed others.

2.  How do we increase/develop our talents?

3.  Can we just do our jobs and be an employee forever?

4.  What is your responsibility as a Christian, as God's Creation?

5.  What is the relation of this reflection to our job.

  1. My reflection on this post is to improve, develop and multiply our talents, ours capabilities and our knowledge. As to my self, i admit that i failed to help and be a leader to others because, i my self is not improving as well. I am now learning on my deficiency and will now strive to be better than i am now so i can be of great help with others too, especially with my 3ffb fellows and to the SBU. KALINISAN, PAGDARALITA, PAGTALIMA.. yan ang aking SUMPA( sayo lamang song)
    Kalinisan-Purity of hearts
    Pagdaralita- Integrity,honesty
    Pagtalima-Obedience
    Sumpa-Commitment, Conversion
Those are my learning's from this post.
I will start to take my reflection into action by starting to read and comment to our Community Blog regularly. So that others will do it as well.

  3. My own reflection on this post is to consider how we use the gift that god has given to us, our talent and learn to develop it,There is also a universal application to all mankind. From the time of the creation of mankind, each individual has been entrusted with resources of time and material wealth. Everything we have comes from God and belongs to Him. We are responsible for using those resources so that they increase in value. As Christians, we have additionally the most valuable resource of all – the Word of God. If we believe and understand Him, and apply His Word as good stewards, we are a blessing to others and the value of what we do multiplies. We are accountable to the Lord for the use of His resources.
We must learn on our ownself the talents within, and each day we must learn thing at a day. We must improve ourself everyday and show that our positive side in order to have a positive results. Commitment to the lord and commitment to our company is the best example.

  5. We should be very thankful for whatever gifts God had bestowed upon us. We should nurture/develop such gifts inorder for us to succeed in life. Improving oneself everyday shows achievement and openness to corrections so that continous learning from mistakes will enable us to be effective and effecient in performing our duties. Be of the best of what talents we have, strive for the best and of service to mankind.

  6. Don't stick to your one little talent, learn how to develop, improve, and we can say that you learned something if you spread those learning to everyone. Be fruitful or knowledgeable, multiply or spread to others the talent you have and replenish or create a new talent to gain not only by yourself but with others too.....

  7. For me, the song "SAYO LAMANG" means purity of the heart, being honest and committed in everything that we must do..We must love our work for it will love us in return...
Let us be an answer to others prayers..All of us were given talents,we must improve, develop and apply it very well..Know how to prioritize things through giving attention and focusing on it..

  8. We are blessed by God in different areas of our lives. We are given unique talents for us to use and mold; and in return, to be a blessing to others. We are created by God with different purposes and missions to accomplish. Everything we do is glorifying His name.
In relation with my job as Management Trainee, I may help other people by providing them jobs such as being sales consultants/agents. The income of these agents will be used on their expenses. Thus, I become a blessing to others.
Such situation greatly manifests that we can help other people by all means even in the simplest way. Let us be a blessing to others!

  9. We are born because we have a mission. A mission - planned for us by our God Almighty Father. And each of us has its own talents in accordance with our destiny.
I am very thankful that I’m one of the blessed people. Why do I say it so? Because I was born & gave an opportunity to see all the things created by our God. To live and stay with my family since birth up to now without any sickness. Living normal and not disabled person. So I am so thankful and really blessed.
In return to those blessings coming from God we must to acknowledge the Lord - thank him & bring back all those blessings in a way to help other people. LIFE CYLCE. Working at HGMP is a channel of blessings. For the past 8 years as one of employee here at Pangasinan because of maintaining a high collection, I already contributed many blessings to our suppliers, contractors for paying them on time with regards to the term or agreement, agents thru their commissions and at the same time my family

  10. As i read this reflection, I as one of the creation of God, the talent that God has given me should be shared the talent to others. We are created to use this talent to help others. Here in our company I use my talent of sharing the word of God especially to the grieving family to comfort them.
I am happy and blessed because I have this talent to share.
