What is happening to our FOFF? (Free Obituaries for Friends)

Memorandum:

Date:  December 11, 2013

TO        :  All SBUs

cc:   Records

Everyday, I follow up posting on FOFF.  Free Obituaries for Friends.  It is our way of getting to our customers.  It is free service to anyone who has deceased in the family and we publish free obituary online.

Unfortunately for us, our last entry for FOFF was last September 2013.  Something is very wrong if we are not doing our tasks at the SBUs.

This is a task for CSS I.  This is in line with the thrust of Ms. Cynthia Cartago who visits the wake of the dead.   People in the wake are prospects, at the minimum Class C.  They are more receptive to our sales pitches.

So with FOFF posting.  We had a large audience with FOFF.before.

For clarification:  It is not  private blog, and not limited to our friends as our staff here at 3ffb would seem to communicate to your goodselves

It is a required output for CSS 2 and for the SBU.

Prospecting via textblast or leafletting at malls do not seem anymore as a wise and smart idea for prospecting.

VISITING WAKES AND PROSPECTING THERE  AND DOING FOFF AGRESSIVELY AND CORRECTLY ARE THE RIGHT AND EFFECTIVE  THINGS TO DO.

This office would like to know why the SBUs should not be disciplined for non implementation of FOFF activities (visitation of the deceased/civil registrar, MHO, and wakes) and posting?

However, the last FOFF I saw was September 2013 which is quite a while.

  1. True, this is another and effective way of prospecting clients. With the aid of our online obituary, we were able to give free obituary posting service to the family of deceased. This is also a free promotion for our Memorial Park.

Here at Holy Gardens Greenhills, we are on process of communicating with the City Civil Registrar to acquire more deceased details.

  2. And it was also an opportunity seeking for us to find new prospects and at the same having chances of knowing what would be our part to pursue some ways of encouraging and making others non-customers believed in us.

We visit non-customers wake and somehow bring some simple stuff (e.g 3 in 1 coffee, playing cards) that would let them feel that no matter what, we still care.

  3. This is also the best time to promote our products and services. We also show empathy with the grieving family for them to know that the Holy Gardens Memorial Park employees care also for non-costumers.
