FILTERING OF STAFF BEING RECRUITED TRAINED AND RETAINED

Objectives:

1. To enhance productivity

2.  To promote professionalism in the ranks

3.  To help achieve greater profitability

Background:

Let us call it a hr funnel.   

Recruitment:  

Suspects --->  applicants ---> short list -->  interview ---> exam -->  interview --->
hiring sheet  --> Physical exam  --->  BI  ---> job offer



Training:

Orientation week --->  exams and practicum--->  pass fail  --->  on the job training -->
---> performance evaluation   --->  RI, or out

 Many people apply but few are chosen.  We choose pencil and paper exams, BI, documentary requirements, and interviews, (for recruitment) and performance evaluation, (judging from outputs and outcomes that are documented)

But we can screen filter people through:

1.  Observations

2.  Visible behavior

3.  Self filtering in the funnel

Let us call this filtering/screening by observation through attitude  ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

Bad attitudes of workers lead to ruins and even downfall of the organization.  Bad apples when allowed to come in destroy morale and discipline

Some bad attitudes that need to be weeded out:

Initial application and Interview:

1.  Lousy appearance;  not in business attire when applying;

2.  Unsigned and error full resume

3.  Bringing cellphone and even texting being called while being interviewed or taking  the exam;

4.  Being discourteous and uncouth

5. Not following instructions

6.  Insisting on mannerism EVEN when corrected

7.  Being late or not appearing for scheduled interview or insisting on his schedule

ORIENTATION

1. Non attendance

2.  Tardiness

3.  Not following instructions

4. Not submitting outputs on agreed time

5. Not listening or paying attention to the training

6.  Slow to act

7.  Lacks initiative to help superiors

8.  Leaves early even when superiors are still around

ON THE JOB TRAINING

1.  Tardy always

2.  Absenting always

3.  Quarrelsome

4.  Not following instructions

5.  Difficult to train

6.  Lousy behavior, lousy job performance

7. Uncooperative and indifferent

8.  Frequent errors

WHEN HAVING THESE BEHAVIOR AROUND YOU, PLEASE STOP THEM AND OR GET OFF THE WRONG PEOPLE OFF THE BUS
