Conversations with HGLUMP and HGMP Panga regarding CMS and PMS

1.  When:   This office visited the above offices yesterday January 11, 2017 regarding PMS and CMS, and the corporate plan.    This post took Partas, left Cubao at a little past 11 and arrived 5 am at San Fernando, met until 8 am with  RCC, left for Pangasinan, arrived in Dagupan at 11:00 and in SCC at 12;30.  Met until 2:30 and left for Cubao at 3 pm, arrived in Cubao at 9:00 pm and AR at 11:00 pm

2.  Who:   RCC and her staff (CSS and GT) and RCG:   all the CSS (Nova and AC) and embalmer regarding CMS

3.  What :   CMS, PMS and  Corporate Plan for 2017

4.  What :   Minutes:

   1.   JUS discussed with RCC of La Union, the following

         1.  That the visit is for the benefit of RCC and not of JUS;

         2.  That we do this because we are doing something good for the community, for the spirituality of people and materially to provide jobs.

        3.  That it is all about being better.  The story of Ernie Salazar, the late EVP of Unilab who emphasized to this post as an employee, that the most important task, obligation of the employee is to improve himself  (IT IS ALL ABOUT BEING BETTER)

       4.  That the follow ups for her were meant to help her achieve her goals and make the company rise up:   like hiring of personnel, training, repair of vehicles.

       5.  That the non presence of two CSS in the meeting at McDo yesterday, does not reflect well on the attitude and work mindset of her two staff, and a great blow to her leadership and management skills.  This is must not be let to pass unnoticed and that proper action must be undertaken

           The ground maintenance look better than Calapan, although these can be improved:

            Solid bush that are trimmed along the main road (may bungi bungi)

             Mga ligaw na damo na dapat kutuhan


     6.  With regards to corporate plan:

           1.  The targets looked reasonable and realistic:

               However the NCR and the sales target must be reconciled and validated.

           2.  The strategy must be crafted well to gather her thoughts together and make it ore focussed;

          3.  The cap ex, that are needed for her to increase her business:  eg.

                CMS expenditure (say casket muna, and then hire muna hearse, but buy the L300; and the FFE for the embalming room

               repair of patrol

               BC construction

        4.  Action plan: (in a gantt chart format)

             HR -  hiring for the vacancies at office:   CSS (to replace both) SFC embalmer, two drivers

            marketing plan (for CMS, PMS, plots

                     Price, product, promotion, placement

                    in a gantt chart format specifying the inputs, outputs and outcomes

      5.  Lupa na inioffer ni Tirso Mendoza:

           We are dumping our soil excavation at the said lot.   

            Technical difficulties :  we need expensive rip rap to maitain its current elevation.  

             There is an adjacent house that disqualifies the same lot for memorial park purposes.  You need 100 meters set back

     2. Discussion with RCC

          1. Ppt on CMS primer

          2. Discussion of CMS and PMS sales;   what can be done  to better the sales;   Having a tarpaulin to announce the CMS;   

          3. The need to hire more CSS for HGMP Pangasinan,   to assist Calamba to hire an embalmer.

         4.  Modification of coporate plan:

              1.  That her NCR targets are quite low and is in the HGLUMP neighborhood.  that this must up.    That she can reach this easily is due to the fact that it is low.

              2.  The NCR targets and its computation must be understood well.

                     e.g.    For a cash sale say of P10,000:  -=   TCR


                  TCR                                                           P10,000

                             less:  discount   (10%)   1,000

                            PC VAT        (24%)           2,400

                            COM            (20%)           2,000

                                                           Total   5,400

                                                                    NCR           4,600

        Thus you need to:   UP your NCR target;

                                        Validate this in our farming out; (parang hindi maabot)

                                        Check whether NCR targets, as compute above are realistic

            3.  Same comment as with LUMP on strategy, resources, (cap ex) and action plan

            4.  We have to contact those who rent Lincoln Continental and Cadillac for Luxury interments (P200,000 and up).  Pablo says he has # number of the said vehicle for rent
