Some insights/information regarding Forest Lake

I had conversation yesterday with Chairman of Forest Lake Group, Mr. Tony V. Syyap
and his business development officer Mr. Emmanuel Leonardo.  It took several attempts to finally have this meeting;

Let us try to learn from their story:

1. Their vision is to set up 10 mps a year and to cover 140 key cities in the Philippines;

2.  For them to be viable, they have to sell 1,000 per mp a year;

3.  In 2015, they sold over a billion and with CF of P500,000,000

4.  They have 23 memorial parks, with 17 that are actively operating;  that means an average of 

             Sales  -   P58 million
             Collection  29 million

5.  They have about 300 active sales agents/sellers in every branch

6.  We compete in 3 areas with Forest Lake:    Pangasinan, La Union and Oton

They are just beginning to move into the chapel business and are interested to invest in Destiny Financial Plans Inc. to give jobs to their sales agents, as in Binan which is fully sold out.

THEY WOULD LIKE TO BUY/INVEST IN ACQUIRE RIGHT OF WAY IN LA UNION AND/OR MARKET FOR US. This is something to worry for us/esp the La Union staff

7.  They are tops in:

     Project acquisition and development.  Noel has 23 projects under wraps as of today.
     Marketing -   recruitment and training of agents

8.  However they have benchmarked our interments
