1. Subject all staff to a thorough BI. Do not presume everyone to be innocent until proven otherwise.
2. The reference letters must be a surety. For sensitive position, ask for a formal surety agreement.
3. Train everyone and assess after training especially on MC 1 to 9.
4. Monitor very closely newly hired. At first sign of non conformance or run away management:
late reports
not answering phones
excessive expenses
visit the site, issue corrective memos, discipline the erring individual
5. It is better to overcontrol and be strict and then be compassionate, not the other way around

As a newly hired, I always ensure that ageing report is updated, monitor expenses and inventory, politely answer the phone and review MC 1 to 9 for reminding me of the things of don`t do that and do this. We, HGOMP staff see to it that we work on time and eager to hit the target everyday.
