LESSONS LEARNED

There are plenty of lessons learned from the HGGMP misadventure with not so honest people"

1.  Subject all staff to a thorough BI.  Do not presume everyone to be innocent until proven otherwise.
2.  The reference letters must be a surety.  For sensitive position, ask for a formal surety agreement.
3.  Train everyone and assess after training especially on MC 1 to 9.
4.  Monitor very closely newly hired.  At first sign of non conformance or run away management:
      late reports
     not answering phones
     excessive expenses
     visit the site, issue corrective memos, discipline the erring individual
 5.  It is better to overcontrol and be strict and then be compassionate, not the other way around

EXPERIENCES, ESPECIALLY THE BAD ONES ARE GREAT TEACHERS

  1. As a newly hired, I always ensure that ageing report is updated, monitor expenses and inventory, politely answer the phone and review MC 1 to 9 for reminding me of the things of don`t do that and do this. We, HGOMP staff see to it that we work on time and eager to hit the target everyday.

1. One of our beliefs is learning. It pays that you learn more to do more Just to survive you have to learn how forage in a forest or raise your food, catch prey

2. In order to discharge your job well, you have to learn your admin plan the process flow and standards.

3. To keep up with changes, you have to learn and read. There is no other way
