Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
Determination and marketing are the key to business growth. Having determination within ourselves will help us reach our target and be able to say: "Kaya ko naman pala, sana noon ko pa ginawa". It is being like a Good shepherd who protects his flock and will sacrifice his own life for the welfare of the sheep. He will do nothing to harm them, instead he will think on how to make them grow bigger and nurture them with proper guidance. It was not his own flock, he was just being paid to monitor and manage the herd. His determination to increase its numbers and see to it that no one was taken from him. That what was entrusted to him was properly taken care of and properly accounted for.
Determination to fight for all the temptations that are coming with us.
We must always be like Good Shepherd, our flock is our company and our people. Make it your own. Do not take what is not yours, do not slaughter the sheep and eat it. We are all entrusted to take good care of the company. It is our responsibility and our accountability.

A person who has no integrity which is really unacceptable. That is why I am afraid and don’t have intension to disappoint my parents. Because I know how they did their best just to finished my studies together with my brothers & sisiters.
III. What to do next:
1. Always put in mind that everything that I do is because of my family.

3. Be brave & don’t allow to destroy my image.
4. Have integrity,passion-determination at all times.

1. Persistence and determination are omnipotent (by Calvin Coolodge). It is a powerful tool to achieve what we want in life.
2. Determination and marketing are the key to business growth. It is very important to every sales person to be determined enough to reach targets.
3. Nothing in the world has been accomplished with passion – having the burning desire or intense emotion to act in order to achieve our goals.
Relationship to What I Already Know
From the time I was hired I know that I was a wonderful blessing I’d received from God. And to bring back that blessing, I am determined enough to be a faithful servant not only to customers, company but to God who have given me this job.
Make this organization as our own. It is our responsibility to take good care of it because it is entrusted in us to take charge and manage it well. We must be concern for its growth and stability. And we will then be careful in all our acts, make the best decisions for the good of all – customers, suppliers, lenders and employees. Make the most of our time productive. We must have the passion and determination to reach our targets in sales and collection. Our integrity and loyalty will always be with company. If we think that this is our own business we will then be sensitive to its problems and difficulties and be persistent enough to solve it. Let us open our eyes and heart that we are not here just to paid for by the company but to be like the good shepherd who protects his flock. This is our responsibility, that all of its successes and failures we are accountable. If we realized all these things then we’ll clearly understand our purpose why we are here.
What to Do Next:
1. Be always like the good shepherd who takes care of his flock.
2. Be honest at all times and fight all the temptations that come along.
3. Always have the 3D and 1W - determination, dedication, self discipline and strong will.

1. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. Determination is what makes us achieve our goals.
2. Determination and marketing are the key to business growth. Marketing without determination means nothing at all.
3. With trust, comes a great responsibility.
Relationship to What I Already Know
What we achieved as of today is the result of what we had worked for. All are because of our determination and persistence. We are all capable of being persistent, and it all lies within us. We keep on asking “can I do it” but we will never know unless we try. Everyday is a learning process. Determination starts in our selves. Temptation is nothing at all when you know how to resist and remind yourself what is right and wrong. We are not perfect, but our imperfection should not be the reason why things go wrong. After all, mistakes happen because we let them happen.
The Story of the good shepherd explains it all. Although he was paid to take care of the sheeps, he took care of the sheeps as it was his and make sure no one goes away. Being trusted by other people is a blessing. We make this company as our. That’s why we are concern to every problem we encounter. We would not like to end up regretting because we didn’t do what we should do. Look for the brighter future. For we are a team.
What to Do Next:
1. Be responsible for your acts.
2. When temptations come, remember that we are entrusted to take care of this company.
3. Be determine and persistent to reach our goals. Believe in ourselves to make it happen.

RE : REFLECTION-DETERMINATION & PERSEVERANCE
I. THINGS LEARNED:
I have learned that what we need in order for us to become successful person is our determination and perseverance. Many talented people, educated people weren’t able to achiever their goals because they easily quit. They easily let go when things go rough and uncomfortable. They don’t have the courage to face hardships and trials because they are only strong when they are at their comfortable zone.
Skills can be learned, education can be learned, we can imitate what others are doing. But what can’t be learned and should come from the person itself is the attitude. The strong desire to continue despite the pains and struggle and ability to conquer bad habits that will hinder us to become successful. The ability to keep still and focus even though how worse the situation is.
Like in closing a sale, we can’t close really a sale if we don’t have that courage to follow up clients, the will to find new prospects and the courage to overcome rejections. If we are always passive and afraid to face new challenges and learning’s.
II. RELATION TO MY JOB/WHAT I ALREADY KNOW:
a. I will persist until I succeed- the realization of our goals depends on the degree of passion that we have. How high is our tolerance when facing failure and challenges. Hitting our targets is not as simple as it seems to be because we do sell extraordinary product but if we pursue, if we push trough we will achieve our targets. Putting more flame in our hearts so that we can achieve our targets.
b. Attitude is everything-negative attitudes should be replaced with good ones. Example of negative attitudes that we should eliminate is our mental models that selling is hard, that selling is not our line of specialization. Everything can be learned as long as we have the desire and the interest on what we are doing.
c. It is more on the battle of will that skill. Meaning skill or talent is senseless if we are not strong motivation to continue. The eagerness to go beyond our limitations.
III. WHAT TO DO NEXT:
1. Being honest all the time.
2. Making it my own the sbu I am handling. Taking good care of its properties.
3. Being responsible and taking good care of all the things that are entrusted to me; site operation, people, funds, etc.
4. Always sources of motivation to all the staff.
5. Dream, believe and do something on what you dreamed for.

SUBJECT: REFLECTION- DETERMINATION AND PERSEVERANCE
1. Things Learned:
Success does not rely merely on talent and education. Rather, perseverance and determination should combine to attain our goals in life. Despite of all the obstacles that we are encountering on the process of achieving our goals, we are not giving up on our fight. We have the flame and desire within our hearts to improve ourselves. We have the passion to continue what we’ve started, believing on our vision and mission. We should not stop whatever hindrances we’re facing right now.
2. Relation to My Job:
In relation with my job as a Customer Satisfaction Specialist 2, I must value the relationship I have with my ISG. Like the good shepherd, they are my flock. I am accountable with them. I must see to it that no one will reach to the point of giving up. Also, I should ensure that the preparation of every interment will be organized to protect the name of the company I work in from complaints. I must not be tempted on doing incorrect deeds just to satisfy my own needs.
3. What to Do Next
I will apply what I’ve learned by:
a. Increasing my prospects through telemarketing, visitation and sales presentation
b. Checking the preparation of the interment services
c. Conducting an open-forum with the ISG to supplement our weaknesses and improve ourselves
d. Solve/Act on customer complaints
e. Promoting our products by distributing leaflets

SUBJECT: REFLECTION- DETERMINATION AND PERSEVERANCE
1. Things Learned:
What I have learned about what we have discussed in determination and perseverance is that it’s not about the talent, having intelligence or what ever recognition you have received that you will be calling a successful person but it is about your determination and perseverance to perform a task. For instance, you are not be called a successful even you are graduated to a private school and have knowledge if you haven’t perform an action in such a way that you are not even searching a job and apply what you have learned. Have determination and perseverance in order to be a successful person.
2. Relation to My Job:
As Customer Satisfaction Specialist 1 and in relation to my job like a good shepherd, those documents I am processing such as PPA, DOS and CO should be well organized and prepared. The details must be correct and clear and the attachments should be complete. In terms of sales and collection I will be determined and persevered to have more prospects and follow-upping our clients to pay their MA in order for us to have a greater number of sales and collection.
3. What to Do Next
a. I will be processing all the documents well organized and prepared.
b. Making sure that the details I have indicated are correct and clear.
c. I will be checking properly the attachments if it is complete.
d. I will double my determination and perseverance to have more prospects and convince our clients to pay their monthly amortization so that in our SBU we will have a greater sales and collection.

Things Learned from Article
1. Useless is the talent and being a genius if there is no determination and perseverance.
2. With determination and perseverance we will meet our goals.
3. Be like a Good shepherd, taking care and valuing things either ours or not it should be taking care of because God see us in everything we do, we cannot hide everything on Him and He will protect us in any temptations that coming with us.
Relationship to what I already know
Is what I always believe in myself, " Everyday is a new day." When I was on my orientation in this company I was amaze by the principles and beliefs towards employees and in all aspect. I was determine to know everything little by little with the help of Mam Lanie and Mam April and so from the other staff in teaching me of what are the things I should know and not to do. Because of that, I will persistently help this SBU of not putting it in any risk and any temptations that reflect negatively in ourselves. As I can see and being with this company we see to it that we will reach our target, able to sell lots and having a large amount of collections everyday even though sometimes the weather is not good and the financial status of the clients. We persistently find a way to communicate with our clients and those who are at need. Everyday yes is a new day. We thank God always because He can see what we are doing and because of what I can see with my co-workers that they have determination and perseverance to reach that goals, we know God will protect us. Just like a good shepherd, we are responsible in everything and we have entrusted to take good care of it.
What To Do Next:
1. Love your work
2. Never let temptations overcome ourselves.
3. We must possess the attitude of being Persistent and determination towards our work and in ourselves.
4. We are accountable to it, we must take care and value the trust given to us.
