Gallery: Stockholm’s LEED Gold F...

Wedged in between the main train station and Torsgatan street in Stockholm is the Flat Iron Building, a concrete office building built by Skanska. The project was designed byRosenbergs Arkitekter and was named after the original Flatiron wedge-shaped building in New York City. Unlike its NYC-inspiration, the Stockholm building is made from precast concrete and has a LEED Gold certification. The office building is close to transportation, provides a healthy and eco-friendly working environment and acts as a barrier between the industrial train yards and quieter residences on the other side.
