People Love You
There are a lot of great books on the value of customer experience. Unfortunately,
they only cite best practices by B2C companies like Amazon, Apple, Starbucks, and
Zappos.
Great companies... great customer innovations... but, dramatically different customer
relationships.
B2B relationships are far more complex. B2B buyers don't spend their own money (unless
you're dealing with the owner).
B2B relationships tend to be long-term rather than contractual. They involve large
sums of money, strategic relationships, and layers of influencers and end users.
