Secret of Success - Self Discipline by Brian Tracy
The more disciplined you are, the more you are capable of doing the things you planned to do. Patton made his soldiers win in battles by enforcing uniform discipline.
The Japanese juggernaut of exporting products is from shitsuke (self discipline)
Napoleon Hill wrote a book on master key to riches and the key is "self discipline"
Many writers believe that secret of success is "self discipline"
The difference between success and failure are based in time perspective. Those who are willing to sacrifice are going to be more successful. Those who do not are going to be failure. Delay of self gratification calls for discipline.

ReplyDeleteI agree to this a lot, especially on the quote saying" Those who are willing to sacrifice are going to be more successful, and those who do not are going to be a failure..I can relate much to it as I wake up earlier in the morning, getting ready for work while my children are still asleep. It is kinda hard especially nowadays that the cold weather really attracts your body and mind to stay longer in bed, but then as they say always " NO PAIN,NO GAIN..."which is very true...
We can never be a success if we are not willing to give up or take away our " comfort zones"...I guess those successful business tycoons once (or even up to this moment) sacrificed a lot for them to be in the position they are in right now. And maybe they dreamed of it one day- and the sacrifices and hard work they have made paid off and that what pushes me and inspires me to "work my sleeves out" and give my best in everything as long as I can.
