Have we viewed this before; in case we forgot, here are the tips from Brian Tracy
This presumes you have a planner. And you have a watch or a calendar (most cellphones and android have)
1. Prepare. This is the equivalent of planning. Before you leave office in the afternoon, prepare what you are to do the following day. Therefore you know exactly what you are to do the following day. And since you have written this down, you need not worry about this as you drive or commute going home.
2. Schedule your time. Order prioritize what you are to do. Do not let external dictate your day. By doing this, you give yourself a greater sense of control and leadership. And a sense of power and achievement.
3. Start early. Most successful people sleep and wake up early. By waking up early, you give enough time for yourself to prepare and think more on what you are to do. Most violate this important rule by waking up and starting late
4. Have organizational skills : where you place your thing and your files (even your computer file) Are they on B D drive, C drive. Or only at docs or desktop. Know how to find your files and things Invest in organizers.
5. Do things when you are most productive. Are you an AM person or PM person. LIkewise, if you are negotiating, try to nego when you think that the energy level of adversary is down
6. Air travel productivity: Air travelers are 3x more productive than when they are in office Why because they are uninterrupted. So bring enough work when you fly. You will be glad you did/
