Objectives:
--
1. To deepen the sense of mission of every new staff
2. To promote efficiency and unity of the group
3. To promote positive thinking and action
Reality
1. We have difficulties in getting people on line and getting things done
We have many new comers with job experience entirely different from us
2. We keep on hearing: "Doon sa dating pinagtatrabahuhan ko...
3. We are at crossroads and conflict because we do not understand yet our mission nor do we try to understand the business, its process, and organization.
4. Some of the things required in the job are not done for the littlest of excuses;
How can we say that some are mission oriented?
5. We take pains for ABE (always be explaining) and write down in manuals and PPt the instructions but are not read and understood, much less absorbed
WE DO NOT NEED MORE MONEY, MORE RESOURCES, BUT WE NEED MORE SPIRIT IN MEN
We can only move forward, and get the organization achieve many things for the community and the society by understanding and submitting ourselves before the mission.
We call such submitting as SUB-MISSION ie putting ourselves under (as in SUB MARINE) THE MISSION. With the mission above anything else; the WE rather than the ME.
For the soldiers: this is very clear: PARA SA BAYAN.
For us Holy Gardeners, what is the mission?
Three things are needed from all of us aside from the:
3 fold duties (obedience, loyalty and dilegence)
ABCD doctrine (ACCEPT, BELIEVE COOPERATE AND DANCE WITH THE MUSIC) to do well with our mission:
1. Spiritu -- THE FEELING THAT GOD IS IN US.
En theos God is in us; to be delighted in doing the
the things assigned to us and feeling the
can do: with joy and sense of power
because God gave us power to move things
There is not much we can do unless the spirit of the Lord
comes down to us: to love, to do good, to be selfless
2. Corde: DOING THINGS EVEN WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING
Normally, when the cat is away, the rats will play
But we are not rats. God created us to be do good
3. Practice TO DO THINGS WITH COURAGE.
We avoid fear of mistakes
When we have agreed to do things, JUST DO IT
We do not hesitate nor listen to discouragement from other
people. We leave doubts and uncertainity behind.
