Elevated water tanks from surplus chemical plastic containers

Recycled empty chemical plastic containers as water tanks.

I have seen this in Caliraya and many places where a lot of money is saved on elevated water tanks. These scrap empty chemical containers (blue) are interconnected, placed on top of buildings or angle bar platforms and made to store water.  Savings could be considerable

                                           This is used in Circle Inn Hotel where I stayed


                 The pipe at the bottom is the riser pipe that delivers water to the tank.  The valves indicate it is manual controlled.
