Closing Mortuary Agreements in Calapan, Calamba, La Union and Oton

Several weeks  back, this post texted SBU  to solicit and close mortuary agreements.  However nothing positive has happened yet.  Even for Calamba which has complete facilities, the JV Partner  while has n formally signified his OK, the SBU is not ready because does not have dedicated CSS Driver (the driver has resigned) and embalmer to run the facility.

Objectives:

1.  To forge the contract as support for sales of PMS of Holy Gardens or memorial plan of Destiny Financials;  more sales mean more NCR and more incentives for the SBU stop.  The sbu will be left with only plots and PIS to sell and will severely handicap them without the main and primary component of memorialization ie the casket/memorial service

2.  To generate more sales for memorial park, and create more buzz and memorialization activity at the park

3.  To create convenience for customers for one stop shop;

4.  To provide more jobs and business for every one

What:

To close a deal with the mortuary at the vicinity of the SBU to serve the mortuary needs of customers under PMS:

Catalyst:

For agents or staff who can close the mortuary deal:   

    Closing bonus of P2,000  +  com for all accounts serviced for as long as the contract exist:   50% of the savings between our suggested percentage and the mortuary.  Thus if our ceiling is 95% and the facilitator closed it at 90% then he/she gets 2.5% com. for every serviced pms account by the mortuary/funeral homes

Benefits for the mortuary:

1.  Increased business for the mortuary.  No need to run after morgues and ambulances;  the marketing of the mortuary has been pre done pre marketed by the Holy Gardens staff and/or Destiny Financials for which significant amount has been spent for commission, marketing collaterals, OIC and Actuarial Audit Fees, License Fees, VAT, credit term life insurance, sales and marketing and administrative fees;

2.  Stronger mortuary brand through co branding;

3.  The mortuary has the upgrading all to himself, and all walk in clients who without our knowledge bought from them at need

4.  To those whom we refer to as customers we get 10% com (for Holy Gardens SBU) 

5. They can also sell for us other products:  PIS, Plots and cremation in the future, ash crypts for which they can get up to 10% commission

6.  Based on IC approval the following are the approved products and prices

This is an opportunity not only to generate more business and incentives for the SBU and fellow workers, but to generate more income for yourself.

The mortuary has to observe our service level, and prescribed amenities for the said packages and the provisions of the mortuary agreements.

To be accomplished by and between Destiny Financials and Funeral Homes in places where Destiny/Holy Gardens does not have a chapel:  


                                   Mortuary Agreement with _________________________-

This AGREEMENT entered to by and between

     Holy Gardens Memorial Park (or Destiny Financial Plan Inc  )with offices at Bayani Road Taguig City herein represented by ________________, __________________title hereinafter known as the COMPANY

                                                          and

 ______________________________________with offices represented by  _____________________hereinafter known as  the MORTUARY.

WITNESSETH:

1.  The COMPANY is in the business of  selling pre need plans for memorial which include but not limited to funeral and chapel services;

2. This is the best way to integrate the various aspects of memorial services:   casket, chapel services, body crypts, cremation, memorial plots and interment service

3. Whereas the COMPANY has such services:  funeral, chapel, body crypts, memorial plots however it does not have such  assets in the service area of _________________

4.  Whereas, the MORTUARY is located in such area and possess the facilities to carry provide  funeral services to buyers of its plan in the ______________area.

5. Whereas the MORTUARY  will benefit from such an arrangement, ie a tie up, a mortuary agreement, since the same is assured of steady flow of customers, running after customers at need in morgues and hospital is very challenging an  competitive activity;  moreover, the Mortuary can benefit from the marketing activities of its sellers, can sell the memorial plans and memorial park plot  too

6.  The partnership will benefit both parties in terms building a stronger and  better branding 

For and consideration of such premises and other valuable consideration, the parties have agreed on the following:

What:  Mortuary Agreement

When:    From ______________________-_to ___________________ or a period of 3 years from signing

Terms and Conditions:

1.   The Mortuary shall service the funeral services requirement of  the Company  provided:

      1.  The COMPANY SENDS A WRITTEN VOUCHER/Purchase order signed by its duly authorized officer.  A text message, phone call, email may precede the PO Voucher

            that specifies:

          1.The package

          2.  Who is the deceased

          3.  The plan holder and plan #

         4.  Location and duration

         5.  The said voucher is a basis for claims /payment which shall not be more than 14 working days fom the date of the service

     2. The deceased beneficiary is within a 25 km radius transport location; anything in excess shall be paid P___________________per km;  the service is only for 3 nights and 4 days, and any exceeding night shall be paid (for chapel use) and 7 nights and 8 days for home use  (for excess fees can be charged especially for out of town trips say P10.00/km in excess of     

    3,  The mortuary shall have the option for one type of arrangement:

   A.     Full service as specified in our catalogue  and be paid as follows:

      Default features:

1   14 days embalming

2.  25 km free pick up, beyond + P5,000; up to 50 km P10,00 per km for low end;  P15,00 for high end

3.  7 nights 8 days home viewing;   3 nights and 4 days for chapel use;  beyond 3 nights,   2,000 per night for non aircon and 3,000 for aircon rooms of 50 sm or less

9.  Eburol  (free wifi)

Funeral pack

4.  funeral pack of  P300.00 consisting of coffee, creamer and sugar or 3 in 1 worth  1 night only 50 pcs for low end;   2 night for white rose up to gladioli
nightly for  cattleya up, with candies and cornick too

Playing cards:

  2 pcs China for low end;

  3 for wood bicycle brand  for wood casket

  6 for metal caskets

  10 for high end

 Water:

  Free water and dispenser  2 container  for low end

  Free water with dispenser for wood caskets 10  containers

 Free water with dispenser for metal caskets  20 containers

Flowers:

  Spray for low end

  4.  For 150, 000 and above:

       Garden or flower themes below the casket, and at the backdrop (with wire mesh or bamboo and tikiw;  fresh flowers should be 5t to 10,000 cogs

4.  Upgrade and walk in are the business of the mortuary, in no case however shall the Company receive complaints from customer due to excessive upgrade.  Upgrade  shall in no case exceed 30% of the total contract price.

5.  Mutual respect and cooperation.

While the agreement is non exclusive during the  life of this agreement both parties.

    1.  Strive to promote and sell each other products;

    2.  Display the partnership with pride (walang siraan;  walang daiban) 

6.   Taxes  -  VAT and other taxes that may accrue (municipal and local shall be paid by each party.  Hower the company has its paid its vat on its plans.

7. PWD -  no discounts apply to pre need plans whether for PWD or OSCA since the pre need plans have been discounted by 20%  vs at need prices.

8.  Mutual benefits:

    Both parties shall benefit from this agreement for additional businesses:

    1   Marketing and sales:

         The company shall allow after due procedure to become a sales manager for the company, and shall pay up to 45% of monthly amortization principal  to the mortuary;

        At its instance the Company shalll recommend the Mortuary to sell memorial park plots for which Holy Gardens may pay a maximum of 10%T com.

       On the other hand, the com;pany may refer the mortuary to its customer who may buy at need and the Com;any and/or Holy Gardens shall be entitled to 10T% commission.

      For use of chapel, at the memorial park, the Mortuary shall be entitled to up to 20% discount, in no case however shall additional pwd or SC discount be given further

9  Exit and termination -   The contract may be terminated in writing by either  party in writing and with mutual consent.  In no case however shall the termination be made in the peak of business or in the middle of a
service.

10.  Venue -  venue of any legal action shall be in courts of Angono Rizal or Binangonan.  However, both parties shall strive to maintain long business relationship and resort only to arbitration as final remedy
