WHAT DID I SEE?

WHAT TO DO NEXT

PURPOSE OF VISIT

To monitor and check Holy Gardens Oton Memorial Park operations, documents as well as receivables including operation, training and marketing.

The purpose of my visit is to check and correct wrong doings of the staff and apply necessary disciplinary action. To put into action all the manageable executions that were delayed/pending.

a. Trailer

b. Filling Materials

c. Landscaping of Saleable Area

d. Installation of Steel Gratings

a. Explanation letter why the repair of Trailer was delayed;

b. Monitor and follow-up schedule of delivery of filling materials;

c. Train/teach the GT to comply what is being ordered and instructed ASAP;

d. Talked to fabricator of steel gratings for the immediate repair of the gratings.

PROCESS

Is there office decorum, are they in uniform, do they wear ID, do they know something, do they communicate/speak well, do they know their job, VMBP, MVP.

OFFICE DECORUM

1. Michelle was in her office attire, April Lyn and Gary Torilla were in their uniform. With their IDs.

2. The GT wore green shirts with their IDs too;

3. New VMBP were not yet memorized

4. Interment Process: the excavated soil were still in the interment site

1. Monitor and check daily on their compliance to proper office decorum;

2. Request for new set of uniform for Michelle;

3. During AM Talk, let all the staff recite the New VMBP and be able to memorize it by heart;

4. Serve a written memo and require an explanation letter why the standard were not being followed

PRODUCT

Is the park presentable;

Work schedule for construction being followed? For maintenance, landscaping? Is the park clean, presentable and beautiful? Are the grasses tall, are massing, color contrast, waving, smiling being followed?

Do they have problems with ABCD and Obedience? Do they have sufficient number of GT? Are there sufficient planting materials and watering irrigation system

The schedule of construction were being followed except for the steel gratings;

The park was clean and presentable, but when I looked nearer, I saw plastics, old tarpaulins buried alongside of the fence between crotons;

There were portions with unwanted grass in vault yard.

There is no massing, contrast and waving

The plants planted along side of the fence in temporary interment area were not consistent “bungi-bungi” ang crotons

They have sufficient planting materials and watering irrigation system.

Steel gratings must be repaired ASAP by the fabricator;

I showed with the two GT what I saw and have them removed the garbage;

Unwanted grass in vault yard were removed;

Massing were thought to the two GT in actual so that they understand what is massing;

Hire two Garden Contractor to focus on landscaping and improving the saleable area.

They have ipa in nursery. I taught them how to mix ipa and garden soil with compost.

Purchase order for carabao grass and Bermuda grass were prepared and purchase of one (1) wheel barrow for transporting of plants from nursery to the saleable area being landscaped.

PROBLEMS

Do they have plenty of problems? Are their problems quickly acted upon or do they sit on their problems. Are they addressing concerns/problems with concrete action and solution?

The problem with HGOMP staff is communication and proper time management.

Hiring is also the big problem because they were under staff.

Interviewed and gave exam to one applicant for CSS

I made it clear that all communications must be properly addressed to me so that if there were problems, it will be properly addressed and acted upon.

Documents of applicant were submitted to head office and exam for evaluation and checking.

PLANS

Do they plan their work, and work on their plan. Do they prepare ahead of time? Do they follow their plans? Do they monitor progress of plan and inform peers and top management of the progress/landmarks of their plans?

The GT does not have their notebook/planner. They have plan with their work schedule, but it was not written on their notebooks/planner.

The office staff including TS have their planner and written their plan for the day, prospects, accomplishments for the day

I demanded the two GT to have a notebook/planner for easy monitoring and checking of their accomplishment, so that they have written records of what they have achieved for the day.

The office staff will continue and improve their planning by sending to me their daily plan and accomplishment via skype of email.

PROFESSIONALISM

Do they act professionally? Are they engaged in personality development? Are they more mature? Do they know more? Do they have the right attitude?

They are not engaged in personality development but they are presentable enough. They lack maturity and needs more improvement in terms of Personal Mastery.

Make sure that TOES is being done weekly. Assigned topic for their book reports.

Regular monthly visit is needed to monitor and check

  2. Hi Aireen please follow too the SMART requirements especially the T - timeline to do the things you specified. We must do these things sooner/soonest. Please. They were pending before; there is no point that we are not clear as to when they will be done with the follow up. We must set clear goal and objectives as we solve the problems, remove difficulties

1. One of our beliefs is learning. It pays that you learn more to do more Just to survive you have to learn how forage in a forest or raise your food, catch prey

3. To keep up with changes, you have to learn and read. There is no other way
