Some Guidelines on Posting for Griefshare (obituaries)

Constant & close communication. 5 disciplines: mental models, personal mastery, systemic thinking, shared vision, team learning.

TO       :   All CSS, CRM

THRU:    CMO/CMO

GUIDELINES ON POSTING AT GRIEFSHARE BLOGSPOT/FOFF:

1. Please distinguish between Preinterment Announcement and Post Interment.  So we will change our post titles:

     For pre interments:   INTERMENT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ___________________

     For post interment:  we use the regular titles.
     We can use straightforward title:   INTERMENT OF ______________AT HOLY GARDENS _______ (Date)

2.   Observe style and correct format:

         l.  Double space especially for very short obits;

         2.  Always place the middle name or initial;

         3.  Observe correct spelling; use spellrite.  (When there is red underline in your post, the spelling is wrong - do not post unless the red underline disappear.  Never mispell the name of the deceased and/or their relatives. (thus forever instead of forver and this was repeated five times)
         4.  Use correct, syntax, grammar, verbs, tense etc;   thus it is patient mother not " patience mother" and capitalization even for Daily Motion and SlideShare.

 LET US WORK IN AN EXCELLENT WAY BECAUSE OUR GRIEFSHARE BLOG IS EXPOSED TO WIDE WORLD OF READERS.  Please check your work and put your hearts into your blog post!!

3.  Strive to get all the data that is needed in the obit and most especially pictures

4.  For the labels, we need to rationalize our labelling into the ff:

       l. Name of the deceased (thus spell his name correctly with the middle initial)
       2.  Date of the interment.  Please note, do not put comma after the day, because the comma separates the date into two labels
       3.  The name of the memorial park.

        It is suggested that the new blogger interface be used for easier labelling.

Simplified labelling makes it easier to look for the post and for our blog to look neat.

There are two sbu that need training for blogpost.  I hope that they start asking questions and learn the skills needed thereto. Expert blogposting is a necessary skill for our mission.

Please read this post very well and master the guidelines.  As I try to edit the post, I got tired of the mistakes.

Our postings were seen by so many people so we must do it right so that we are really in lined with our adspeak "so lovingly remembered at Holy Gardens"

  8. It is sad to note that that the postings for the latest interments did not conform to these guidelines. There was little or none at all change in the edit of labels of SBU. How I wish blog posts WILL BE UNDERSTOOD AND EXECUTED SOON AND WELL.
